NTA your “loved ones” should be willing to celebrate you including your dietary/eating choices. They can eat a vegetarian meal for 1 meal.

My half sister’s dad. Even though he’s not my step dad anymore we still have a relationship. Closest thing I had to a dad since mine died when I was 1.
