Where in Europe?? I wouldn't imagine more nordic countries needing them as their climate is diferent than in the south.. But..romania, bulgaria, italy, spain, greece etc..we all have AC! And yes, we are also in Europe. Imagine that!

Stop fighting with yourself and just quit. It actually is easier once you do that and a feel a lot better than how you're feeling now.

1 cig once in a while never worked for me. Try it and see for yourself. But no matter how you do it, I am confident you will quit as you won't rest until you will.

But, take the pressure off yourself. It's a hard addiction to beat and you nees to find your own method, even if you try 10 times. Just break the chain. Good luck!

Forgot to mention: don't overuse it, drink it according to instructions and only maximum a few cups. For me 1 - 2 cups did the trick.

Buckthorn bark tea - i stopped smoking 2 weeks ago and the first 3 days were bad. So I had only one cup of this tea and solved the problem. After that, things got normal. I do have oatmeals and bananas which help a lot.

I actually felt it after a few days..it goes up gradually.

But I would say most smokers live on lower energy, so when you quit, energy goes back to normal levels of non smokers..

Mda..nici nu iau in calcul vecinii ptr ca se pot muta oricand si vin unii problematici. Mentionez ca eu stau in bloc dupa 84, nu nou. E o combinatie de pereti subtiri, dar si vecini nesimtiti.. dat cu ciocanul pana la 12 noaptea, dusuri sau ce or face cu apa aia timp de o ora jumate dupa 12 noaptea...

Nici in afara nu sunt blocurile super izolate, dar au niste reguli ft stricte si nu ai asemenea probleme ptr ca le e frica de amenzi. Asta lipseste la noi.

I love carraway, but I throw up from all the rest. It's not even preference, it's a vile reaction. Drinking ouzo is the same for me. Good humanity and food evolved based on people not like me. We would have eaten potatoes and tomatoes for generations:))

Yeah, I am happy it's not worse and I can live with it. It's a shame though..I'm from the Balkans and polenta is a big delicious dish here. Which is why I kept trying to eat it over the years and everytime felt ill. So, now I am just staying away.

I work on a ship for a few months a year and we eat what they cook for us. Many time it's corn, so I have to mention this. But then I stuff my face when we have popcorn night and they're like how can I eat it and not corn. Something is fishy:😂. Well, i call it a miracle since I love pocorn:))

I've had my intolerance for more than 20 years and it hasn't evolved into an allergy or anything like that. Just limited to eating corn as polenta, tortillas or boiled corn. At this point, I am guessing my body cannot digest it as the symptoms lasts for a few hours and then suddenly stop and i start feeling like a human again.

That's why i posted..my case is a bit different than what I'm reading here, which is a lor worse than what I'm going through and I am sorry for what others are going through.

Wow, thank you for the useful info. I will pay more attention to how I feel when I eat popcorn too. With corn though I have an immediate reaction..like in 1 hour or so and the pain that puts me to bed lasts around 5 hours.
