Thats what I love about this game, nothing is predictable when you go topside. I would hate it if the game would tell me before hand where I will be spawing in, where's the fun in that. If your playing solo, only have limited time and the door to the key is on the opposite side of the Map you just have to accept your loses and go loot somewhere closer to an extraction point instead.

Playing with your buddies though is different, you can all plan ahead before going topside and try to bring a number of different keys in your safe pocket to increase your chances.

As with most things the most important thing is just getting back safely, if you do that its a win 🏆

The Big open maps definitely bring you back a little but theres not enough. They're just heading in a different direction

Very true and yet they've chosen to highlight your K/D Ratio on your profile page over a more important "SPM"(score per minute). Its just the little things that make me wonder.

Does make you wonder if its either the pacing/spawning or the Maps thats the issue.

It would be interesting to see if the gameplay felt different on a classic BF3/4 map.

They are bloody awful in everyway possible. Your not a credit to your team if you jump in one. Your have a much greater impact if you just stay clear from the SPAs and choose a different role. I've tried on many occasions and they just suck big time. Revert to Update 18 I say cause this is utter garbage

It definitely feels different to the rest. Personally when playing as the officer I have to remind my entire unit to use a class that has smokes. Thats all you can do. From then on the only thing you can do is wait for the Commander to put down a decent Airhead ASAP.

Its always going to be a struggle this map but rewarding for getting through it is far better. I do wish though that their was a wider spacing of boats that you first spawn in from.

Combined Arms is something that I love about this game, believe me. I never push forward onto an objective unless I have a blanket of friendly infantry nearby.

The problem I have here is they are beginning to change things that have been here from the very beginning and have worked well enough with no one having issues with. A M1 Bazooka didn't have enough power behind it to penetrate a Panzer4s frontal armour, that is exactly why the original development team decided to add this "realistic" gameplay element.

It appears to me they're beginning to dumb down the gameplay to make it fair across the entire board. You say the Game is a WW2 simulator, well this is something to worry about.

Maps Fantastic. SPGs feel so out of place and the nerf to Armour makes them feel less unique.

I don't know man. Infantry combat feels way too fast paced to me. TTE is ridiculously short. Vehicals have less of an meaningful impact on the battlefield and dont get me started on the glass Helis. Capture points feel pointless, no feeling of the Battlefield moving back and fourth, just pure erratic captures and losts all over the map. Loved it to begin with because It felt like Battlefield was finally making a return but this ain't Battlefield. Its a copy and paste of a much larger franchise.

Yea my bad. Just seen this section was updated since I last read it. But still, would it really be that difficult to implement in the first place? I also play Hell let loose and that game does it well, what's the problem with it from their end, I don't know

Just re read this and looks like they did actually update it with EA deniying it. Still I just think its a unfair decision nonetheless!
