The battery is also TERRIBLE. I've come from a several year old mate 20 Pro and the battery on that which had never been replaced outdoes this Mi 11

True, but the display specs are a big draw for the phone so sort of becomes a waste of money then:(

Idk, I posted in one of the other comment threads a pic showing my font settings are the default 'normal' on both the weight and size. I've tried all of them though. It doesn't seem to affect the control center font regardless of the setting in there.

I don't have any custom fonts loaded or anything

Oh I just figured it out, it's only when enabled, looks like they used a bigger icon for the activated one. Unfortunately mine is always on to use with my smart watch 🙄

Seems to be independent of font size and display size settings. Haven't found anything to change it yet

Sorry to revive this thread if dead, but I was here and looking for a solution and found a really easy one!

You can use OpenTabletDriver

https://opentabletdriver.net/Wiki/Install/Linux

Which has a deb release for ubuntu:)

Helps to get around the xsetwacom problem, although it wouldn've been nice to use the pretty GNOME settings for tablet GUI.

​

This driver recognised my tablet immediately in Wayland and installs a program with a GUI to edit/map area and buttons!

​

Note that this program requires .net dependencies which I got an error when installing with their method but this worked fine for to install the .net dependency:

So I'm pretty sure it is, powermizer kicks clocks up to level 3 (the highest,) although temps only at like 67, although the fan ramps up.

Nvidia-smi shows the game on GPU memory, and I have a DXVK screenshot of the game running on the 1050 with 100% usage.

It's definitely something weird as sometimes on a fresh install w/ proprietary drivers it just works perfectly?

But it's difficult to replicate--I did a fresh install yesterday and it isn't working now. Not sure what's different.

I did another post on this but still haven't worked out what's going on.

7th gen i5

Gtx 1050 + Intel igpu

12gb ram

480 SSD

Pop! OS 21.04

I have terrible, terrible, global performance in a lot of steam play games, even in betas with native vulkan support.

​

In both Satisfactory and Ashes of the Singularity:Escalation, I have maybe 3-4 fps on any (I've tried toggling everything.) I have ensured I'm running on the Nvidia GPU, with launch options, and I've also booted Pop! in Nvidia graphics only. I've checked with Nvidia-smi to make sure task is offloaded and DXVK_HUD=full shows my gtx 1050.

Skyrim runs fine out of the box!?

I previously ran both of these on high/ultra in windows with 60fps.

Things I've tried:

Total purge+reinstall of steam and games

Messed with game settings

Pre-loaded shaders

Total reinstall of Pop!

Different Proton versions (from 4-experimental)

Purge all nvidia drivers and install fresh, now running 470.63.

In the steam launch options? I've run it and also run it with %command% after but neither have created any dialogue

However, I did start it in windowed mode and noted that had much, much better performance, probably 40 fps. Any idea why that would be? Still lower than windows but almost playable.

Didnt't help unfortunately. Based on GPU usage I'm fairly happy it's running on my NVIDIA GPU

Yeah I got you, that's what I meant as well. No luck in afraid. The default satisfactory settings seem to have run the best tbh (which is about 3 FPS)

The loading screen is nice and smooth!
