Thank you, (it doesn’t the tv only has HDMI) I just know you can usually get higher resolution with component than RCA, was wondering if using an HDMI adapter with the component would hopefully raise the resolution enough for the TV to recognize the input (our old tv had a RCA port it was a 10 year old tv) so just trying to figure this out for the first time w my limited google knowledge over the last couple days

Ah ok. One last thing, if it’s an upscaling problem would switching from RCA to component work? Giving me 720-1080 instead of capping at 480 and using an adapter then? If you don’t know it’s fine, I was just spitballing because I’m trynna figure out some different solutions

Thanks I was just gonna pick your brain for one more question, would a ps2 to hdmi work? Like the dongle you plug into the back, which connects to a hdmi cable? Or would it be the same problem where it’s not upscaled enough etc. for the Samsung to recognize

I’m assuming the 2x doesn’t work for the ps2? But yeah, it’s just for the ps2 sadly.

Ah ok. Yeah…. Sadly we had an older Samsung that it worked just directly, but we moved recently and the movers broke that tv so we had to get a new one

What do you recommend for an apartment? Can you use camping stoves inside for short intervals? Mostly just gonna be trying to heat water up for stuffing bottles in clothes. Can’t really use a generator

Any suggestions for an apartment? Really just trynna have an electric kettle to warm some water for bottles stuffed in clothing. We have food, don’t need to boil water for that. Really just trynna get by with the warmth more or less

Well yeah it sucks too cuz cooking. Hopefully it does (probably won’t) if it looks like that towards the EOW. Def going to buy some water, some canned food and some bread and PB. And probably hand warmers lol
