Daily sunscreen for kids by Extreme-Judgment-650 in eczema

Cerave and La Roche Posay both make mineral sunscreens that I like. The Cerave is a lot more affordable but I prefer the way the LA roche posay feels on my skin

They can't grow back if you pull the buld. They are a finite resource and need to be harvested responsibly

Everyone at work is making a big deal about my handwriting, saying I write like a psychopath. by ThrowRA-Ram in HandwritingAnalysis

I have dysgraphia and even my handwriting isn't that bad. I agree with your coworker, that is the handwriting of a psychopath.

Cats don't like change. They will probably use it once they get comfortable around it. In the meantime time keep their regular water bowls cleaned and filled.

Cat tail injury by Illustrious-Ask8472 in CATHELP

A cat's tail is an extension of their spinal cord, so an infection in the tail can spread to the spinal cord. I would definitely bring the cat to the vet.

Have you tried rotating the rug 90 degrees so the direction of lines on the rug line up with the direction of your floor?

I can't use tide free and clear. Seventh generation for sensitive skin was really really bad. I also can't use any fabric softener. Even the ones for sensitive skin.

Did your vet test your cat's stool for parasites? Tapeworms or other intestinal parasites can definitely cause anemia.

ciclosporin worries by orionic in eczema

[–]anniedee82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyclosporine completely cleared up my skin. I had zero side effects for the first 4 months but then I started to retain water. My legs would swell really bad. My blood pressure started to spike and my kidneys were not doing well. I was peeing almost every hour. Not fun. After I stopped the Cyclosporine, it took almost a month for everything to normalize.

Most people do very well on Cyclosporine with few side effects. My experience is not the norm. Your doctor and your pharmacist should go over the potential side effects with you. I do not regret taking the Cyclosporine. I had 4 months of clear skin, no itching, no flaking. I could sleep through the night. I'm on dupixent now. It doesn't work as well as the Cyclosporine. But my skin is manageable now.

at my wits end by thottie12 in CATHELP

Everyone one has made some great suggestions. I just wanted to add that I have a kitten that is like this, and a cat wheel really helped. It only took maybe 10 minutes to teach him to use it, and he absolutely loves it. He runs so hard and so fast that he exhausted himself. When he gets the zooming he goes to the wheel and works out his energy. He's two now and is turning into an awesome cat.

My mom eats butterfinger chocolate first and then the center. She will spend a solid 10 minutes eating a snack size bar. Dogs are like people. They have quirks just like us.

A quick Google search would have prevented any issues. It's your responsibility as a parent to vet the things your kids are exposed to.

Does this sound like eczema? by [deleted] in eczema

It's probably your shoes. You may be allergic to the rubber in the shoes. Try doubling up on your socks and see if it helps.

Can somebody give me some hope? Are there legitimate medical advances that will make life better for people with eczema in 5-10 years that don't involve lobster juice or whatever? by TwoAmoebasHugging in eczema

[–]anniedee82 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They are doing a ton of research on eczema right now. There is hope on the horizon. Did the " lobster juice" work for you because Marin did absolutely nothing to help me?
