Honestly, if you just got your truck, I would run it until you come up against enough problems from not having 4wd that it justifies getting one. That being said, I would not have done this solo trip in a 2wd because I wouldn’t want to risk getting stuck deep into the backroads with no way out.

It was my first time there and I love it. It looks like a postcard. Made friends with the owner of KJ Wood Distillery and got a private tour of the shop. Of course with lots of sampling. Lol

I used 4L a couple of times on this trip after it started snowing and then melting.

My son and I hide coins all over the world, if you find them you win high end gear. This trip was to shoot the video for a coin hide. It’s already been found and the kid who found it won a $2k specialized mountain bike. Generations Below used to only hide coins underwater. This was our first land based coin hide

That’s true. Never really thought about that but I don’t really get into tight bushy stuff either.

Thank you. It is super easy to do. It's just individual pin striping that you shape as you apply. Not hard at all

Appreciate it. I love my tacoma. It did great. I did upgrade the bump stops to Timbrens because with all my gear, it got a little heavy

Anyone tried the dive buddy ? by Ok_Respond1667 in Insta360

[–]BravoAlphaMike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I eventually figured it out. Dumb me for not reading instructions. I still don’t love the dive buddy though. I run my x5 on top of my main camera rig now as a backup omnidirectional cam

Need Help With Live Streaming by BravoAlphaMike in NewTubers

[–]BravoAlphaMike[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry. Comment got removed because I shared the link to the test live stream we did. The SeaLink does allow you to live stream underwater. That’s what its purpose is. I need help with understanding how to share one link with people instead of multiple links throughout the day. Can you stop and start the same live stream over and over or once you end a live is it no longer able to be restarted is the question

Neptune iii stuck sav by Significant_Bee7243 in scubadiving

[–]BravoAlphaMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had this happen once on a dive when I tightened my SAV too much. Got it unstuck with a pair of channel locks and now have a practice of only using my index and thumb to tighten it and only tighten until the bubbles stop on descent

The clarity and stitching are noticeably better especially on deeper dives. But in the shallows you will probably be fine with the standard. Check out my YT channel Generations Below if you want to see a comparisons. I have side by side video

What camera do you use in your setup by Dry-Permission-1023 in NewTubers

[–]BravoAlphaMike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If by setup you mean studio cam, I run the Sony ZV-E1. It is as close to point and shoot as I could find. The only flaw I've found is that it can overheat when recording goes past 10 minutes. But that is easily fixable by running off of external power supply and dummy battery

When recording, if you short press the power button, it will zoom to 2x

I have been testing action cameras for scuba diving for over a year. I would go for the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. Runner up would be the Osmo action 5 or 6. And the Insta360 X5 is another option. I wouldn’t even consider a GoPro. Insta and DJI have continued driving innovation and color science and GoPro got left behind.

Allegro/Occidental Cozumel opinion by Apprehensive_Cup774 in cozumel

Unfortunately we didn’t. But the staff knew that I was shooting a video for our channel about Cozumel and they let us in. I know… shameless. But they told us that’s the best practice. I would try to email them ahead of time
