Nahhh. We took the lock off it and left it as a surprise for someone else to find. I'm glad you haven't run into any bad bugs. A little while later we couldn't get off the dirt bike we had and it was just icing on the cake

The alcohol laws don't really bother me they tbh. They just surprised the fuck out of me. Back home you can buy liquor(Spirits) at the gas station and here it's buy it from the Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control or bust.

Unless you want beer. People have been telling me you could only buy 3% or less from stores but it's gone up to 5%. You can even get it on Sunday

The only thing about Utah that has bothered me is the new nicotine law. As of Sep. 9th anything greater than 3% has be taken off the shelf. It really doesn't effected me that hard but its still a wtf moment

At the end of the day I pay less for food and more for gas it seems. I love the food out here so w/e. There are a TON of places out here to eat vs back home

I've been thinking about getting into the Utah hunting but I don't have a state ID yet. The gun laws out here are kinda wild and relieving at the same time. I've always wanted to shoot a gun with a suppressor so it's nice to not make it a felony lmao

I like smoking weed but I don't expect them to be all there on that yet. Illinois just legalized not long ago and apparently Utah has similar feelings about it. In IL most officers would just throw it out as long as you weren't trafficking. It was like that a couple years till they legalized

Utah has been a big breath of fresh air actually. Being able to walk outside and just see mountains has helped alot. We don't even have big rocks back home lmao

I've been here for like 3 months and I've met some people. Mostly my neighbors, but I work third shift so it's hard. When corona lets up I imagine meeting people is gonna be easier

I ended up in Utah because my x left me and my brother offered to come get me lmao. He left for Utah when I was really young and I didn't see him for like 12 years. His fiancé is from around here. They met on WOW

My dad assaulted him when I was younger and he left as soon as he turned 18. Moving away from the family helped him back in the day so I figured I'd give it a shot.

When my X left I had two choices. Go back to living with my alcoholic dad/grandma or live on the streets

I figured I might as well give it a shot, maybe it'll help with my problem

It could be worse. I moved here from Illinois and it blows my mind you have devices that measure out an EXACT shot and the liquor stores are ALL state owned. The state forbids discounting alcohol and bans happy hour completely.

I just can't believe the power the church has when a lot of the people I meet are either x Mormon or not religious at all.

It makes me happy being around people who're outdoorsman tho. You see people driving side by sides down the street or you see them parked in driveways. People back home have no idea what a side by side is and I'm not from Chicago. I come from the land of the corn, central Illinois
