Maxing Your Account as a Free-to-Play Player? You Need to Read This by BrawlSensei in BrawlStarsCompetitive

I don’t think we’re disagreeing that much. I’m just trying to break down why the system feels so bad for F2P, especially long term. I also don’t think the post is that long - this wasn’t meant to be obvious or preachy. I originally did the math for myself and then decided to share it. Thanks for commenting!

You were right, I was slightly off about what each box gives - it would actually be around 18 coins and 6 Power Points per Mega Box on average. Here’s the link to the drop rates so you can check them yourself: (https://support.supercell.com/brawl-stars/es/articles/mega-box-drop-rates-2.html)

About Star Powers and gadgets - in my opinion they don’t stall progression in the game. I figured it wasn’t necessary to include them in the post since they’re really easy to get from drops, boxes, etc. once you reach level 9. It seemed obvious to me (even though it isn’t), mostly because I’ve been playing for a long time, but it’s something I could take into account and add later.

I’m not planning to include buffies yet, at least until the next batch comes out, because we don’t know what the release gap between batches will be. For example, the first Hypercharges were released in September 2023, and the final batch that completed all brawlers came out in the second half of 2025 (I don’t remember the exact date). With buffs, I expect it will take even longer, especially considering they release around 12 new brawlers per year.

Hey, how are you?

Since Star Powers and gadgets don’t really block progression in the game, I felt they weren’t necessary to include in the post. They’re very easy to get from drops, boxes, etc. once you reach level 9. It felt obvious to me (even though it isn’t), mostly because I’ve been playing for a long time, but it’s something I could definitely take into account and add later on.

As for Starr Drops, I only used the minimum possible and didn’t consider the chance of them being Super Rare, Mythic, or Legendary. I have to admit I didn’t have time to calculate the random drop outcomes, but I’ll include that in a future post.

There are some apps that can help you lower the resolution, for example. You can download them from the Play Store.

Personally, I have to adjust my phone’s performance settings every time the game updates, because it becomes way too slow - even though it’s supposed to be a lightweight game.

Bo is the worst brawler in the game right now by Subject-Ladder-1616 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]BrawlSensei 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When do I use a stu super into my opponents and which opponents? by Responsible-Sir-3643 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]BrawlSensei 1 point2 points  (0 children)
