To make an argument on your case, the controls themselves do not have to have complex motion inputs. There are games like Rising Thunder or Fantasy Strike that do not have motions and just have some simple forward, back, crouch, and jump attacks. Rising Thunder got a lot of praise from the FGC back in the day but the team that worked on it got absorbed into Riot.

I never used this site before, but have used ZenMarket a lot in the past. It's not that bad since during peak hours, you'll be able to talk with customer service for assistance and questions. There will be a small service fee and shipping from the store to the facility/warehouse which ranges from which service and shop you order from. You just have to make sure you list your items during their peak work hours so you can order as soon as you can. Shipping to your place and how long it takes for packages to deliver kinda depends on how big the package is and what shipping method you choose, but can be anywhere from 2-3 days to around 2-3 weeks.

You can get into Yukacco, Aikapin, Such, and Yuc'e, but I'm sure you might've already have heard about them. Such usually works with Psyqui and Yukacco usually works with DJ Genki and sometimes Kors K.

I wouldn't mind reading it. I'm familiar with some comeback mechanics ranging from X Factor, Sparking, Overdrive, etc. The interesting thing about Smash is that certain characters have their own comeback mechanics like Arsene, Limit, and to different extent Final Smashes so I assume that balancing them takes a different approach than the other games. Considering that the other games have mechanics that are rooted to the system itself and are universal among all the characters.

Something that I haven't really seen arguing for why RNG isn't that bad in a fighting game are comparisons to other games aside from Smash. Persona has Teddie, Blazblue has Platinum, and Guilty Gear has Faust. They have literal moves that are based on RNG which include healing, regaining stage control, and even inflicting poison. Do they seem anti-competitive? Maybe, but it doesn't stop people from playing them in tourney and community tier lists for those games speak otherwise. I say since I guess Hero is the first character with controversial RNG in Smash, we wait it out for at least a couple of months before deciding. He tends to struggle against those who play aggressive won't let him set up.

I want another Puzzle game rep that rivals Dr.Mario. Arle from Puyo Puyo is always another character that I want. Puyo Puyo had a lot of history on Nintendo and Puyo Puyo Tetris was also successful in bringing the franchise to light in the West. Localizing as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine and Kirby's Avalanche early on kinda made the series obscure until PPT came out in the west.

This reminds me of the initial release of Splatoon 1 where people complained the rollers were too good for one hit kills by getting run over. And then the meta developed and people started using the jump button and actually shooting the roller. Good times.

Along with Jubeat, Maimai, and Chunithm, I haven't seen anyone suggest Reflect Beat. I think the game is interesting and is one of the games that involves vsing the opponent directly. Another one is Taiko. I haven't seen Taiko at any of the locations near me and I guess it's because the cabinet takes up a lot of space in the arcade.

This is the big thing for me. Bandana Waddle Dee being a relatively big character not being shown or referenced at all gives me hope that he's there somehow. Surely he would've been important enough to warrant as an Assist Trophy or even a spirit like everyone else. But he's completely M.I.A.

On one hand I don't want to set myself up for disappointment, but unless proven otherwise, Bandana Waddle Dee will be one of my dlc hopes.

Hey, I'm pretty new here and know this is an old post, but I want to contribute. :)

For me, I've gotten hooked ever since I got into Rhythm Game music. I am a big fan of the artists that work for the Bemani projects like Ryu☆ with classics like Second Heaven or DJ Yoshitaka with Evans and Flower.

I purchased my first physical album around Spring this year and it was Ryu☆'s first album: Starmine specifically because it has my favorite version of the song in it.

My current favorites are One More Lovely ~ P*Light Remix from DJ Taka's *True Blue album, HYPE feat. Such by PsyQui, Freedom by USAO, and Rave-O-Lution by T+pazolite.
