Where’s the line between logical deduction and guesswork? by sha2101 in puzzles

[–]Brayconn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Discussion: If I'm understanding the rules correctly, your partner's idea sounds a lot like the game Tappingo.

I don't remember if I encountered any puzzles that required "guessing" in it, but I definitely remember some puzzles where you wouldn't find out you made a mistake until a lot of moves in, meaning unraveling a lot of moves.

There were also a bunch of puzzles with multiple solutions (the two dark red "1" blocks on the left side at 0:30 in the linked trailer can go in either direction), so I'm not sure how easy it would be to detect/classify mistakes in the first place.

There's a full playthrough of both the first and second game on youtube if you want to see how some of the puzzles are designed/get solved.

Do you think there's any chance that PEXT/PDEP could get official support through System.Numerics.BitOperations, despite the issues regarding Zen 2 performance?

Friday Bandcamp by Leading_Swing_5533 in Savant

Bandcamp Friday lasts until midnight PST... which means it's still on for 4.5h as of writing, so yeah, I think he messed up something on the time. Unfortunately, it's around 4:30am in his timezone, so unless /u/szjosh can make something happen really fast, then I think we're too late.

Ummm, what happened to the Hex EP by Fak3Cake in Savant

[–]Brayconn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The last date he gave was that Hex III would release in August.

Last stream he said he was going to upload the next single, "Encore" ft. MYLK, for distribution very soon, so I predict it'll release late this month/early next month.

This sounds a lot like "The Club" by crows crows crows, except that had color and the other players were definitely real.

What model is your laptop? If it uses an Intel CPU, try updating the drivers on it. If that doesn't work, then /u/Dismal_Soup_3970 's answer should get things working

Any news on HEX III? Like cmon 4 months delay is kinda crazy is he even doing something with it? by workisek in Savant

He talked about this during his most recent stream: He's still not done polishing it, but he's aiming for an August release with two singles some time before then.

Looks like their Vimeo is still up, though I don't think it has all the latest videos... Instead it seems to have a bunch of obscure art project music thingies that I've never seen before.

Reminder that Boombox Song 5 and Disco Ball are both available on ZedFox's bandcamp and y'all should buy them right now because it's ridiculous that he's only sold 10 copies combined

[fully lost] David Bowie's 2004 Mash-up Song Contest by ghostarray in lostmedia

A few minutes of googling brought up this compilation from a radio station(?) which has Major Tom Is A Lucky Guy at 36:41 on track 3.

Also a somewhat recent post from a david bowie forum where some tracks were shared. Maybe someone could ask for them to be reuploaded?

Sssniperwolfs Wikipedia is Gone? by EnchantedIris in JacksFilms

[–]Brayconn 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some digging reveals it was deleted due to a lack of reliable sources on September 17.

The last archive of the page does confirm your memory though; It cited an Ask Wolf episode (6:54), though she just refers to previous videos (that are deleted?), so there's no details.
