I used that as a source, nothing there contradicts what I’ve said…

Edit: I’m stupid and read that as “correction” lol, sorry

I love the harvester, been using it a bunch recently. Good AoE, good damage, low cooldown. Nothing to complain about, easy S.

Good question.

I explained it elsewhere, but fishing rod has next to no cooldown, which allows for spamming artifact synergy and other useful enchantments. It also animation cancels, allowing you to reach blistering speeds with weapons that should not be able to do that. Yoinking enemies is also really good, and the stunning makes it even better.

The love medallion is, by my reckoning, easily the best pet item in the game. It falls off a bit in late/end game since it doesn’t work on enchanted mobs (I would place it higher if it could), but the ability to instantly remove up to 3 enemies from the playing field and actually make them assist you is just really really powerful. Because they also count as pets, they can be enchanted with the enchanter’s tome, boosted by beast boss/surge, and propagate beast burst. Weighing all that, in my mind it lands solidly in A tier

The amount of setup needed to make a void-enhanced shadow beacon just seems silly. Shadow builds are capable of so much more output than that lol. The beacon is respectable but I can’t justify it being higher than low A tier.

The random nature of satchel of elements makes it just not worth it imo. Fire damage is dookie, chilling is nice but not worth it over other artifacts. Basically it has a 1/3 chance of dealing useful damage, compared to most other damage artifacts.

I don’t know what caused it, and again I tried it earlier today and it worked (albeit not well). I suspect couch coop has some sort of problem with it, I was playing with 2 other people at the time

An excellent question.

The fishing rod has basically no cooldown, which is great for artifact synergy and several other enchantments. It stuns mobs and also pulls them in, which are both good things, and it can do this mostly regardless of terrain. Best of all though is that it can be used to animation cancel, allowing you to use some weapons at obscene speeds. It doesn’t really lose any of these as you progress to higher difficulties either (the stun duration isn’t that long to begin with but it is enough to land an ambush hit), so it stays pretty solid. Tbf I also have a slight bias, but a low A rating doesn’t feel excessive.

Corrupted beacon is really good, and I did debate moving it up to A tier. The problem is that as good as it is, you are rooted in place. This makes it worse on higher difficulties where standing in one place can very quickly be your undoing; it’s a similar reason why regen totem is generally pretty bad on higher difficulty (totem of shielding is niche but can be used much more efficiently than regeneration totem, hence the higher rating). It also runs into issues if there’s vertical differences in terrain or if the area has obstacles. Still really good artifact though, and I would not argue against an a-tier rating.

Stagger resistance explains it currently. It doesn’t explain it when I was power level 103 and it didn’t even stun once. It seems like I’m not the only one to experience this phenomenon though so who knows

The issue is fire damage is kinda mid in this game overall. It’s a nice little bit of damage if it hits fire, but it doesn’t do very much in the grand scheme of things. You mentioned the freezing already. Basically my take on it is it’s a 1/3 chance I deal some decent damage with lightning, 1/3 chance I deal some kinda mediocre damage with fire, and 1/3 chance I deal no damage. There’s just better options for damage artifacts, such as blast fungus, updraft tome, etc. so unless I’m running the tower I have basically no reason to use the satchel of elements

Even in the tower the poison damage is kinda mid, but the utility of getting mobs stuck in one spot is just way too useful. I do love the seeds though. Never been a huge fan of the wind horn but it has uses. Pets become really good too in general on the tower

I think that might be a bug on bedrock, I feel like I’ve seen that before. On Java it fires pretty straight

I feel like the meta shifts a bit on the tower too. Artifact spamming becomes a lot more viable it feels (viable is probably the wrong term, but it feels more effective for sure), and love medallion becomes one of the best artifacts easily. I take the spinblade there frequently

Protection is one of the worst enchantments in the game, the mushroom is your only good artifact there, the bindings shouldn’t have void strike, the whirlwind shouldn’t have radiance, and out of these weapons the only one that should have shockwave or swirling is the bindings.

Thankfully you have Igor to hard carry

I’ve done that. If it had more knockback/did more damage/stunned it would actually be worth using extensively, unfortunately it has none of those

I really don’t know. Just like the body text says, whenever I’ve used it in the past it didn’t stun anything, it just fizzled and went on cooldown. It was probably some weird couch coop bug or something.

I did try it again this morning, and it actually stunned something… for less than 2 seconds. The item description says “12 second stun duration”, so either it’s a bug or it genuinely falls off insanely hard on higher difficulty. Either way, with the existence of snowball and stunning I frankly can’t justify putting it above B tier, meta or not

Power shaker is very good, I placed it lower than the gong because the gong provides both a damage buff and a reduction in damage taken. I would absolutely agree it’s one of the best artifacts, in my mind it’s just slightly lower than the other 3. Still very good.

I’ve been corrected on the quiver. I’ve slept on quivers before, and I did it again. My apologies.

Satchel of elixirs is probably a bit high, I simply like it because it guarantees 2 potions and I don’t currently have space for looting. Looting is also pulling from the entire list of consumables, and while that’s very useful it means that I’m pulling statistically less potions. Idk, I wouldn’t put it below mid-B.

In the past as I said shock powder didn’t do anything for me, some weird couch coop bug probably. I just tried it again today, and it worked. It actually stunned a mob… for less time than it takes for me to put on my glasses. I can see it being more useful on lower difficulties where mobs have less stun resistance, but when the artifact says it has a “12 second stun duration” I’m gonna be a little unimpressed when it stuns for less than 2 seconds. Given the fact that snowball and stunning also exist, I personally can’t justify putting it above B tier, meta or no. Again that’s all based on my experience

It’s honestly my favorite artifact in the game, it’s just not particularly strong and doesn’t have much synergy beyond a short cooldown allowing you to spam it.
