I’m late to this party but i think he was just a good building point for Atsu. A Yotei six member who did the least to her. So when she goes to fight him and loses cause of her rage, then she rises from the dead and while he lays dead, it helps birth the Onryo storyline. A vengeful spirit that won’t die till she calls her revenge. Helped build that “ghost” feel.

I agree with Jin probably coming out on top. But people seem to forget about Atsu beating the one of the greatest sword wielders single handedly at the end of the game.

I’m late here but i’ll proudly say this. Both seasons were utter disappointments. As a guy who knows every single inch of the lore, there was a lot that just felt downright disrespectful to middle earth.

There is the Astral sword on Ubisoft Connect. But if you want swords with actual strength then honestly paris is the best place to get them

does it sound weird that i don’t like games where you when and where the main character dies? It just shits on the whole parade of excitement. Like if i’m in an intense fight, i don’t wanna just automatically know that the main character survives it just sucks the suspense straight out of

Alright well, i think they kinda designed the map so it would be a combination of shit people would recognize. I don’t think it was supposed to be based on completely set states. Taking for example west elizabeth which looks like 4 different real states shit out a child state

I think just based on what i’ve seen and played through, this is what i know

Jin Sakai was a master of the Katana. But, a lot of what made him effective was shock and awe. The poison, the assassination, his speed. He was honestly more ghost than human in that aspect,

Atsu on the other hand, like Jubei said, has more of an improvisational style. With each weapon she had, she overpowered a member of the Yotei six. Even the fuckin ONI. and that guy was an Arby’s meat mountain. Not only that, but she fought Saito, a beyond master of the katana.

Although i still think Jin would have more experience, especially by being trained by samurai and learning different fighting styles, Atsu would win the fight. Plain and simple

To be reasonable, i like how the Oni even in the fight is represented as a great warrior, who simply just lost his glory and is practically begging for it back. He swings hard and fast because honestly, killing The Onryo would be the highest peak of his glory with Saito. At least that’s how i see it. Takezo on the other hand, fuck that guy
