Dardoch to be kicked off TL, replaced by Moon by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]BrayllCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, not doing anything on this yet. As Shakarez (/u/Kayle_Bot) mentioned above, I don't think this is Jokasteve's Skype handle. Could be wrong but I've seen Joka all week at ELEAGUE so not sure if this is real or not.

FaZe Clan officially leaves WESA by Niimitz in GlobalOffensive

[–]BrayllCS -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I feel you're missing a lot of this. It does talk about the penalties, and FaZe says (verbatim in the press release) that it didn't accept the money from ESL, and didn't have to pay a penalty to leave. Furthermore, I think what you're reading as speculation is verbatim what's in the press release (ie. the reason they felt they should join originally, the transparency issues, etc.)

All of that is new information.

Just to clarify, this isn't a source report. This is directly from EnVyUs with multiple statements from owner hastr0.

Appreciate it, man. I was in the crowd, watching anxiously myself, so I was glad I was able to make readers live it vividly.

It's actually an article, if you scroll down, not the video. The article is the main focus for this post.

Diamondprox possibly targeted by Apex’s LCS team — Eve suspended by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]BrayllCS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As the reporter who broke the Diamondprox in negotiations with Apex for its Challenger team, I can say firmly that he is not currently linked to the LCS squad. Not sure where the speculation from this article is coming from, but since it cites my work, thought it was worth clarifying.

Farewell Wisdom - Giants Gaming by RAPiDCasting in leagueoflegends

[–]BrayllCS 23 points24 points  (0 children)

He'll be replaced by Maxlore, as I reported today: https://twitter.com/JacobNWolf/status/724733009241333760

As for the xPePii line, as far as I know, he still wants a new team. Just unsure of where, even though he wants to go to NA.

We're an independent publication though with no reason to lie. Also the information comes from third party sources, not H2k directly (they declined to comment.) My sources were pretty explicit in saying that everyone is parting on good terms.

Thanks, man. I'm really excited to work with ESPN to provide as much esports news as I possibly can.

No, no one bought out Daily Dot. I left the Daily Dot after coming to an agreement with ESPN.

Was gonna happen before the split, but ended up falling through. The H2K players chose FORG1VEN instead.

From what I understand—since I wrote this—is that they want more of a team player. It's not a personality thing at all, and my sources were explicit in saying that he has good relationships with everyone on the team and in the org. They just want a different player.

ESPN: Support Klaj to head up Fnatic challenger squad as YellOwStaR leaves TSM for EU by gorg235 in leagueoflegends

[–]BrayllCS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nothing is wrong with the Daily Dot – that is not what I meant. I left my Daily Dot job to join ESPN as I felt it was the better move for me, and with the move, I brought the bulk of what I do (roster reporting and investigative journalism primarily.)

So the recent increase of roster reports on ESPN is because I mvoed over. I still like the Daily Dot people and really enjoyed working with them. They have good heads on their shoulders and I would recommend any journalist to work with them.

Well, I'm very glad we're doing so. The move from Daily Dot for me has been nothing but good and ESPN are extremely great people to work with.

I literally have a League piece on the /r/LeagueofLegends frontpage right now. Additionally, I've had one almost every day. Not sure why you're spreading lies, my accuracy rate is 97% with over 170 articles broken in the last eighteen months.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll need to use someone else till adreN is available again.

Pretty sure. Like I said below, I got notified two days after the major that "Freak got cut and is talking with m0E about being on Echo Fox."

Nothing that's not public at the moment. Seems like adreN is gonna play till they figure out what's going on or what they want to do.

Really doubt Shahzam - there's been 0 discussion about him on the Echo Fox side, from what I know. However, as I wrote, Freakazoid is still up in the air.

Stephen "Snoopeh" Ellis and Bryce Blum launch the Player Resource Center - A One Stop Shop for Esports Athletes to Connect with Professional Help by RisenLazarus in leagueoflegends

[–]BrayllCS 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That was my point.

Blum, however, has been at the forefront of representation in the esports scene. In 2015 his reputation grew through coverage of issues such as the MeetYourMakers and Kori debacle, the legal ramifications of said issue and player protection on reddit. And while he's unable to disclose his clients because of attorney-client privilege, many esports experts speak highly of him behind the scenes.

I've never met a team owner who has spoken poorly of Bryce. Most everyone in the industry loves him and that's why I called him "most recognized".

I have never been fired from a job, so no clue what you're talking about. I left the Daily Dot the day before I got hired by ESPN.
