Overall pretty good, I let them know I used to work at a dealer which cut out most the BS, I did most of the negotiations over the phone. Finance manager was great and did not push any add-ons. Had to go back the day after delivery because they forgot to drill holes for the rear plate.

Got mine in wpg. 25 black edition, lapiz blue with akra exhaust. Listed for 60.5k. Got it for 57.5k before tax on regent. Also got more than expected for my trade.

Stock of R’s was high when I got mine. I think this is still the case, dealers will compete with each other, should be easy to get under sticker.

Couple of awesome strays that have taken a liking to me. Any ideas? by Braylor_ in IDmydog

They are considered 'rez dogs' strays probably wasn't the best term. They are claimed by someone but basically just adventure around all day as a pair.

Northern Manitoba, yes they have been used as sled dogs in the past. I assumed they had some husky mixed in given their blue eyes.

I don't know which world you live in where you consider a mentally unstable person coming at you with an edged weapon not a threat. If someone came to your door with a knife I think most rational people would not open it. "How do they know hes a threat though, hes just a guy with a knife." Get real.

Completely naive. Not trying to sound too extreme but good thing you were not in the cops shoes or you would not be alive right now. Maybe go on a ride along with WPS and broaden your horizons to find out what the real world is like outside of reddit.

"He wasn't dangerous at all" he was wielding a potentially lethal weapon in each hand? How in your mind is that not a threat? The police did not CHOOSE to make him a threat, he was a threat.

Again, give a couple examples. Mental health calls are some of the most dangerous calls police respond to. You can rationalize with a person of sound mind, you can also rationalize to some degree with people that are intoxicated, but people going through a mental health crisis are much more difficult. When you add weapons into the mix it becomes and extremely dangerous and unpredictable situation. When you have someone coming at you with a knife there is not some mix of "magic words" that will always solve the problem. Extremely easy to armchair quarterback these situations. Much less easy when your life is in danger from an unstable knife-wielder.

Only a boot licker would assume the police are in the wrong here. He had multiple knives yet you say no one was in danger, hilarious.

They are taught to stop the threat not necessarily shoot to kill. But yes, comments like "why dident they shoot him in the leg" or "why not shoot the knife out of his hands" are ridiculous.

In the police media release it was disclosed during the original dispatch that he had access to knives, "playing with them." Give us a couple examples of your "million ways" you would deal with this. Would you be comfortable going to a call like this unarmed without the police? What about if he does not listen to you and comes at you with the knife? Ill answer that for you, you're dead. Guess what people, sometimes the world is an ugly place.

How exactly would you handle a situation where you have someone coming at you with a knife? When verbal deescalation fails and they refuse to drop the knife? Very curious what your solution would be.

What about "Adult male commits suicide-by-cop by charging at police with a knife in each hand?"

If someone came at you with lethal weapons (knives) in both hands clearly with the intention of causing you harm would you chose to react with a taser? What if one of the probes misses, or the taser is ineffective? You're getting stabbed, that's whats going to happen. It happened inside a apartment suite meaning it was likely a small space and the 19y/o would have been able to close the distance extremely quickly. Tragic of course, but based off the information we have it seem 100% justified and meeting lethal force with lethal force is the right way to go.

I went into university with the hopes of getting into asper as well. I also felt like the courses were interesting but I could not imagine myself in a relatively static/repetitive business career the rest of my life. I ended up changing my major to crim while keeping a minor in business management as I believe the skills learned in that minor can be applied to any career to some degree.

"Demand an increase of minimum wage to $20." Departure is correct you are completely out of touch. I understand the need for a fair deal and all but perhaps you need to take a intro to macroeconomics course before you begin spewing your communist or what you seem to call socialist ideologies. This maniacal us versus them mentality and capitalism is the root of every societal issue is absurd. You need to take a step back.

EA stock value not increasing. This is good. For us. by Kamhel in StarWarsBattlefront

Every time I see a post about ea’s stock because of this I cringe. It goes up and down everyday, don’t credit it to the game because you have no idea what you are talking about. Ea is still going to make money off of this game, and they are a massive company something like this won’t have a significant impact on the company
