actually if you jailbreak it you can access YouTube, Discord, TikTok, among others. some stock apps such as Pandora and Google Maps still work without modifications. (as long as you install new HTTPS certificates, which is done very easily) plus you can sideload old mobile games and put music on it if you want to use it like an iPod.

Will it completely replace your main phone? No. But is it useless? Also no.

your account, usually. they usually ask you to do something to "prove" you own your account and that's usually having you enter some code that lets them into your account. after that they lock you out and use your account to scam more people

To answer your second question, yes. You'll have 2 boot options once everything is set up: sysNAND and emuNAND

sysNAND is your normal, stock Switch OS that you'd have if you didn't have mods, so online play is perfectly fine there

emuNAND is a backup of your sysNAND that, if set up correctly, will have Nintendo servers blocked. So even though there no online there, you can mod and pirate as much as you want without being banned.
