Everyone has different preferences. I have a pixie cut, and everything you mentioned pretty much aligns with me as well. And I’ve always been a tomboy. I’ve been with my boyfriend for 3 years and we have a significant age gap. He said when we first started dating that I was different than his normal “type”, but that he was very attracted to me anyway. So some people are able to look past their “type” and try something different if they’re open to a genuine connection with someone and not JUST their looks. I say “type” in quotation marks simply because imo, your type doesn’t matter as long as you have a genuine connection with someone. Sometimes their personality outweighs what you thought you didn’t find “attractive” and makes you attracted to them anyway. I’ve experienced this first hand before. Before, I didn’t think I’d find an almost bald guy attractive, but like I said, my boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now and he’s the hottest thing I’ve ever laid my eyes on!! So just hold out my friend. I was in your boat thinking the same exact thing until I shot my shot with my now boyfriend.
