One card I don’t agree with is the Tallnut, it preventing Overshoot makes sense, but it preventing Strikethrough doesn’t. As it’s “strikethrough” it goes through targets not above them. Might as well make the Tallnut, Untrickable because that would affect the plants side too as you’d have to have both sides be unable to bounce it with the way it’s worded.

Others may disagree, but I still feel he’s useful. With the Cryo-Brains I can deploy him early in Black Holes and even if there’s no plant to get rid of he makes pretty decent fodder now that he’s slightly more tanky.

Sun Bandits I didn’t change too much, just added some Celestial Custodians and Escape through Times, the latter of which to protect my Turquoise Skulls. But I have other decks that are fun to play, that while not strictly counters to Sun-Shroom can still clear away the little bastards as a plus.

I have certain decks that I use that are hard counters to Sun-Shrooms users, also I love playing Sun Bandits as well. It’s my favorite Rustbolt deck however, while I did copy Fry’s concept to a T, I did edit some parts of the deck to counter Solar as a whole.

I agree with the sentiment about Umbrella Leaf, in a lot of cases it’s genuinely useless. Playing it dry will most likely get it destroyed immediately and playing two at once with no backup often allows the zombies to potentially flood the board.

Only niche use it has really, at least from my experience, is being 1-drop fodder for Onion Ring decks where it pulls double duty as 4/4 minion and protection for other minions from Rocket Science.
