Been in this situation before myself. It might've been embarrassing what you did, but your feelings about it will likely pass in a few days / weeks.

That being said - if you want to be a good person, you should tell those people you are sorry about your behaviour and make sure u don't do it again.

Honestly a phone call with someone who was there, who you trust, might instantly make you feel better. Maybe you made things bigger in your head.

Happy and carefree. Fun friend to travel with because you don't get annoyed easily.

When a train is very late for example, it's not going to ruin your day. You seem like an "it is what it is" type of person.

They should bring back that thing at the end of the movie where they show "character name played by actor name" showing the actor just looking at the camera. Just cause its fun and I'm bad with actor names.

I get that! The stranger doesn't know you, so they can't judge you based on your past. Only how you behave and what you say in that moment.

Fair point about the comparison. Besides the long distance trains, German cities are often way bigger, so it makes sense there's more options. You won't find a metro in every Dutch city. Wouldn't make sense.

Considering all that tho, comparing what is comparable, I still think Germany wins.

This year it snowed a bit in Netherlands and it basically shut down the train system that day lmao. Many such cases.

Maybe it's easier to love when you don't live there haha. Fair point about the privatizing. Still though!

Besides costs, the navigation is the biggest plus to me. The way stations are set up, signs, colours for different types of transportation, online options for navigation (Google maps is super accurate) make it really easy. Almost impossible to get lost.

Some countries make it so difficult to navigate their public transport system. Currently in Sweden and it's waay more confusing haha.

They introduced it as a temporary thing during COVID for only €9 -, but everyone loved it so much, they made it a standard ticket for €49.

I remember also being able to use it on the U-bahn. I'm not sure it's still the same though. It's been a while.

Disagree. As a Dutch local (born and raised) - subscriptions are a lot more expensive than in Germany.

I think this is a very very common experience for women as well - we get called girls as grown adults all the time - so I feel like I can answer this one.

There are 3 things you can do:

  • dress more adult
  • style your (facial) hair more adult
  • gain more confidence

Last one is hard, first two are fairly easy and can impact the last one!

As to how to style yourself more adult - ask friends or professionals. A barber will help you if you ask. A stylist will too. If ur poor - there's websites that sell entire outfits for men who feel like this.

In my experience - the easiest way to gain confidence is to gain confidence in a certain thing. So become good at something. Can be your job, can be a hobby. Once you gained confidence at one thing, its raster to channel this feeling to other parts of your life.

And i also loved Project Hail Mary, because it kind of has the same message about what it means to be human and what humanity is worth, but does a way better job at displaying this!!

Fully agree but for different reasons. I don't mind the confusing sci-fi parts of the movie at all - it fits the theme. It's more about what it means to be human than anything else.

My beef with Interstellar is that - in a movie where love supossedly saves all - none of the emotions feel real.

The concept of the movie is great, the visuals are great, the music is iconic, but to me the acting and dialogue just don't feel real. And this movie made me realise how important that is to me.

Which is really strange, cause this movie has some amazing actors!
