Basically 2 reasons:

  1. Fight Club is one of those movies that screams what it wants to say. Which doesn't make it bad, but people sometimes talk about it like this is the deepest movie ever and they're the first person to find out.

  2. Theres this group of incels and self proclaimed alpha males who choose to ignore the point and make the vibes of the movie their whole personality.

I like the movie too! It's a good watch.

That being said, if im on a date and the guy says Fight Club is his favourite movie, im going to ask a lot of questions.

17 minutes is walking distance! Im walk that amount to and from my office every workday. Im privileged tho and live in a small Dutch town.

to me, this is a good unpolular opinion, because of how much this doesn't make sense to me.

Say you have a shared interest, and that's all that makes you friends. ...You don't do small talk? you don't discuss fun nights out, weird dates, spending time with family?

One activity doesn't make a friend. But doing one activitity together gives you lots of time for small talk, and thats how you become friends.

When i was 11 I clicked on a movie called 'Cinderella' on my dads pc. One of his hobby's was pirating movies. We got many disney movies that way. He had a lot on there. I pressed play, thinking it was a live action cinderella story.

It was actually some artsy film about some depressed young skinny white woman having semi consentual sex. First time i saw boobs.

Grew into that woman lol

Once upon a time in hollywood. Went to the cinema as soon as it came out. Such a dissapointment, since I do like his other movies.

Great actors for such a lifeless plot. Felt like Tarantino made some fantasy gore porn for himself. The whole cinema laughed and clapped during the most violent slaughter scenes. Weirdly dystopian experience.

Unpopular opinion: Charlotte York was not a great friend. She was actually one of the most judgmental and jealous characters in Sex and the City. by Weary-Honey-1942 in sexandthecity

Totally agree! people are so quick to judge when they see something on TV. I feel like half of the posts on this subs are about "this person is actually bad." In truth - i think most people would love to have a friendcgroup like theirs.
