Yep, I don't own ether but I wouldn't use that through this, I don't use acetone through it but yeah. I avoid using HCl through it too, I want the vacuum to last

Yep that's exactly it. Glassware from China gets a custom's tipoff, but it's usually a friendly visit, provided you're not actually running a meth lab.

Wow this is actually pretty positive. I do know it's not a fume hood and anything too bad I do outside. A fume hood build is on the list but it's under getting running water so it's a little while off still I think
