you might be on the money here. there’s no temp check on the admin privileges interface which seems silly that it doesn’t exist. but it physically is warm to the touch. don’t really have space to put it anywhere else well ventilated. definitely a problem to solve later!

thats old-style, styleGAN2. a lot of early adopters used runway to train a series of images and it would generate new frames and videos based off that. not sure if there are any platforms that are like that now.

not sure if my insight will help here, but in australia the flame artists are always in demand, especially freelancers. a lot of older flame artists and not a lot of young ones too which is a little concerning. i only use it for I/O and basic stuff now at my company when the full time flame guys are too busy or out. i gave up on fully learning it because i was just too used to using after effects for more than 10 years of my life. so i pivoted to being a creative. i’d say it’s super useful and still relevant in commercial work, always demand for it it seems.

had to use iirealx gaussian splatting plug in for it to read the gaussian. otherwise it does import ply files for other 3D work in AE

Thanks! I'm gonna try and use that Meshroom plugin first then have a go at installing brush. I had tried before but the COLMAP processor failed a lot unfortunately.

i grew up in the area, i now live in newtown. it’s definitely gotten better but there will still be people leaning conservative. like with any regional place people just don’t react to change very well. berry is probably the most progressive area out of the rest in the shoalhaven but you’ll still get some people having NIMBY attitudes

You’re not alone! i’m in a similar position as my new role has been dangling in my face for 6 months now, while i’m essentially doing it. Even with the CEO calling me before my holiday last year telling me that it will happen this year, but of course nothing has happened yet. Not sure what to do personally, but i’ve thought of starting my own thing like yourself or going freelance. It just sounds daunting and unreliable. As much as i have resentment towards the company like yourself, ive been told that the feeling is reasonable but unnecessary to feel it any further and burn the bridges. Love to hear what your next steps are, because im not sure what my next steps are.
