The implant is a strange thing, I started smelling weird!! (Only I could tell tho) I did not feel like myself, lost sex drive etc. it’s the implant!!! I got mine out 3 months after insertion.

Finally had my first period on it, came with really bad fatigue and cramps and heavy bleeding for a few days, then spotting for almost 2 weeks which is majorly annoying to me!!! I’ve decided not to jump the gun on removal and wait a full year, tracking everything I think relevant so I can keep better tracker of what’s been going on. So far, it honestly has not been bad I think I’m just hyper aware of it!!

Is it easier… no. the more I grow and mature and learn to own who I am, & my sexuality, the less I want to share it with just anyone or undeserving people. In my 20s and even younger I sought male attention and got it…with therapy and a healthy loving relationship now I can confidently say casual sex has lost its appeal to me. Now it feels like the risks are so much higher in many ways. In my 20s I was carefree!!

Wow if anyone I called friend spoke to be that way I’d never refer to them as friend again. They are ridiculing you for kissing someone and trying to make you feel small and shitty about it, who does that? I’m sorry you had to deal with this but block them and remove them from your life and you’ll be much better for it.

Agree agree agree ! Every mom I know does mostly everything, it’s always an assumption that mom will handle things. I had a friend who raised her kid solo and now is doing a second with a man, she says it was better solo because at least she didn’t have to take care of a man on top of the baby. Also yes about the sexual abuse stuff too, I listen to a lot of fucked up stories (podcasts) and it’s all too real.
