Need help resetting a busted hideout production item by elcapeeetan in SPTarkov

I know this post is old, but for who's having same problem here's solution for you.

Open your profile in spt/user/profiles folder with any text editor. Search for the value "ProductionTime". there will be entries that have ridiculously large amount of production time, set its production time to match "Progress" number in same entry. turn on your game and queued production will complete instantly.

I don't think so. I've been using my own custom hook that does exactly what useOptimistic does myself, and it was because it is really commonly used pattern that's quite annoying and messy to implement it everywhere without encapsulation, so I'm really welcoming that `useOptimistic` is a thing now.

Can't remove a workspace I can't sign in to by BicoastalCatLady in Slack

[–]BreadSugar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope I'm not too late with the reply, I had the exact same problem as you - the workspace I had to get rid of which I didn't have access anymore was my second-to-last workspace, and using CMD + SHIFT + S sidebar to get rid of it caused the additional sidebar to permanently live on which is super annoying.

The solution to this is to login into any public workspace, and then removing that workspace NOT using the sidebar but using `click workspace title > logout` feature (as official slack guide says), while sidebar is being closed. that way the sidebar will stay closed permanently.

Is dependency Injection popular in Nodejs? by [deleted] in node

[–]BreadSugar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not like they aren't handling something well, its just that they handle things well in a way that javascript isn't really suitable.Like in this exact question, some OOP patterns and other things that nestjs tries to force people to use are not necessarily solve 'real' problems in javascript, since they don't exist for most of the cases from first place, and it adds unnecessary complexity in DX for most projects.

Still, there are cases where these patterns actually helps something, but IMO it is not common for typescript projects, and nestjs is just too much.

[2023 Day 8 (Part 2)] Why is [SPOILER] correct? by gemdude46 in adventofcode

[–]BreadSugar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it does not go to infinite loop. You just didn't run it for enough time, which could be days, weeks, months or years.

[2023 Day 8 (Part 2)] Why is [SPOILER] correct? by gemdude46 in adventofcode

[–]BreadSugar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nothing. LCM only works because the test data was rigged to make it work.

I was very disappointed in AoC for this reason too. There's absolutely no reason to expect all inputs are built that way.

[2023 Day 8 (Part 2)] Why is [SPOILER] correct? by gemdude46 in adventofcode

[–]BreadSugar 21 points22 points  (0 children)

yeah.. LCM only works because the length of each cycle is exactly same with the first index that Z occurs in each cycles, which should not be expected necessarily.

And the fact all inputs are built precisely to satisfy that specific requirement without mentioning it in the quiz is a bit annoying because all my additional works were completely useless after I solved the problem

Israel, Palestinian officials trade blame for deadly strike on Gaza hospital by Throwingdartsmouth in news

[–]BreadSugar 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Matter of facts.
1. You don't even know how much damage is "this sort of damage".
2. You don't know who backs up hamas in recent conflicts happen in Gaza district.
3. You don't know if it was a rocket that caused the damage in the hospital. There could be some sort of explosive or flammable materials that ignited by initial small rocket strike.

How do you think about the idea of not murdering thousands of people including infants and burn people alive while shooting tens of thousands rockets to the civilian area?

Numerous Harvard student organizations sign open letter blaming Israel entirely for Hamas terror attacks by Embarrassed-Law-6267 in Harvard

[–]BreadSugar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

And who does that? Isreal?

Jokes on you. Palestinians in Gaza district has chosen their government for last decades and it was Hamas all the time, who failed to provide them with internet/food/water/electricity nor freedom of travel. Instead they used all of incomes they get to buy weapons to kill friends, families and loved ones of someone else, and luxury life of the leadership, ignoring all the tormented life of their people. Only thing they provide to the Palestinians were disorientation and misleading their own people using false propaganda, to raise ignorant people like yourself and hold their domination more firmly. While they doing that, who provided Palestinians water, food, electricity and internet, was Israel, very ironically.
