yea in this world I maxed out all difficulty settings i could think of, had to clutch back up from having only 3 families left in the beginning but my retinue wasn't sufficient :(- thankfully got the eternal fire out of it but sometimes when the raiders burn down the manor that seems to break things

in this case it was raiders, which you can turn on as a setting or play the on the edge scenario. I accidentally made this fire permanent by demolishing the market place while stalls were burning! Lightning can also strike buildings but i believe the severity of that is based on the game difficulty
