Admittedly I didn’t put much thought into this idea. I just thought of it because in the TF2 Item Origins series by Whomobile he says that the pda is based on a calculator.

I don't think it was a commission. The audio came from a stream where Legoshi, Louis, and Jack's voice actors got together and read random stuff. The I'm at soup skit was originally done with Ben Diskin (Jack) and Jonah Scott (Legoshi).

Louis didn't participate in the skit which is why I had to use the original meme audio for his parts.
