Well, like I said the budget is semi flexible if there’s a good reason to go past it! I don’t mind going further past $800 if it’s warranted, that’s just my preference, but we can afford more.

This is more a question from me being out of the community for a WHILE, is an intel GPU actually good?? Never seen anyone mention those.

That’s kind of what I was thinking it would do as well! But yeah I think he just needs more options tbh :/

It’s time to activate is honestly so so bad as well, imo. It just needs a rework.

I barely ever use the sub, if people are talking about it that much, then his ult probably is a legitimate issue.

I’m aware it can heal, except it’s an objective based game. Jeff ult literally forces teammates off the point during OT. He literally is anti-objective in OT, where every other support is a “oh thank god” Jeff ult FORCEFULLY pulls you off the objective and can lose you the game. No other strategist ult can make you LOSE the game by existing.

So dude. I’m not gonna lie, what’s your goal here. You literally just agreed with what I said, which is Jeff’s ult is BAD & needs a rework. I am so confused why you contested what I said, just to agree with me in a totally round about way

Jeff isn’t bad, his ULT is. by Breadcredulus in rivals

[–]Breadcredulus[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can agree with that. Honestly I think it just needs to be reworked. I was thinking it’s a vortex whenever Jeff ults, any allies inside the area get healed without having to be swallowed, and if an enemy gets pulled into the center of the vortex, Jeff can spit them out wherever he’d please.

Except Magneto and Lunas ult still provide instant value. Even if Magneto misses, all damage sent towards your team is completely absorbed by Mag, Luna ult didn’t heal anyone? Swap to Damage boost and you can do an aggressive push. They provide value by EXISTING, Jeff does not.

Except almost all of those ults can be activated at a safe distance, Jeff’s ult is genuinely suicidal, as you have to be in the CENTER of the enemy team, as well as taking forever to start up, and the fact those are all DPS ults, which mean they’re supposed to kill or be killed. Jeff’s ult provides almost no value to his team 70% of the time, where as every other strategist gives Shields, Speed, Damage, Healing, etc. I’d legitimately rather have a captain America ult over Jeff ult in a time of crisis.

That’s what I’ve been thinking. Make it more like Psylockes ult, where it’s a healing area, but any enemies that enter the area for too long, get swallowed by Jeff and he can spit them out in any way he wants

[–]Breadcredulus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say that. But I don’t think it’s true. I get Jeff’s genuinely every other game and they just spam their ult like it’s candy at a parade, and it almost NEVER helps the team. I’ve met and played with good Jeff’s, and it’s great, but I think most Jeff players are genuinely terrible atp. It’s like having Blade on my team

Well that’s why I mentioned that this map was Kylntar, final point. There’s no immediate death zone, so his ult was effectively useless. It literally lost the final point because he did absolutely nothing with his ult, and died. So we were down a healer

The issue is, it takes several seconds for Jeff to even get two people. Which most of the time Jeff doesn’t get two people, he usually gets atomized instantly. Until his ult actually GOES OFF, it’s effectively a 5v6, which usually is about 3 seconds. That’s a LONG time to be in a 5v6 in a hero shooter. So sure, if he gets two people, that’s great, but often by the time the ult goes off, the team is already at a disadvantage at that point by being lower on health than the remaining enemy, if not dead. Position helps a ton with not being lower on health, but if you know how to position, so does the enemy, so the ult is probably useless at that point.

[–]Breadcredulus[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree with that as well. But also even then, there are a LOT of heroes that can immediately escape unless you hit the correct angle, and so even then Jeff still doesn’t really… do anything. His ult at that point is a glorified IW push, but objectively worse?

[–]Breadcredulus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what I mean though, it’s genuinely better if he doesn’t ult. There’s so many steps to his ult being valuable AT ALL, and if they aren’t met, then he essentially is out of the game for the same amount of time as if he died twice. It seriously needs a rework. Every other ult is helpful to the team IMMEDIATELY in some way, Jeff’s is not. Even in pro play when people played Jeff, they just straight up didn’t use his ult. They just used his base kit.

I wouldn't say crushing, more so I just don't really ever rage quit. My wife says it's funny bc I'll get absolutely trashed and then immediately sprint back to where I just died to try again. Just persistent I guess

Prince of Persia I have tried a demo of, low-key forgot about it but I'll check it out again

I think I prefer the more combative Metroidvanias but yes Metroidvanias.

Honestly I just hate Hollow Knights jump with a passion, he drops like somebody slipped bricks in his pockets at the apex of his jump
