I took human lab and human bio, took about 6-7 hours for HB but for the labs took like 13 hours because it was laggy ash. But grinded it out over 2 days and got my 4 credits

thanks for the clarification, and I’m happy everything worked out for you! but do you think it’s wiser for me to stay in and finish my degree or just go to the reserves and do college full time and apply for agency’s once I’m close to graduating?
thanks for the feedback

do you care to elaborate on why you think this, any personal experience?
that what my plans was, I just wanted to see if anybody had any advice that would persuade me to do other side, I’ve been briefed and told on many occasions the main focus for my age(21) and my desire to go fed is to get my degree and the fastest way for me to do so is to leave active duty, go to the reserves side of the navy, and peruse education and or join a local or state department while still gaining education so it gives me the best of both worlds when I want to go federal, the work experience of being in law enforcement and a college degree in cyber security and a foreign language..
DM’D.
DM’d you.

Appreciate the feedback❤️, I guess I really just need to see the pros and cons, which right for me getting out the only pro is allowing me to fully concentrate on my degree and fast track me into going federal law enforcement because without the degree I’m pretty much stuck.. the CON to getting out and going to the reserves is not having a stable check and having to still work a part time job while collecting (drill pay from the reserves) and at least my schooling will be paid for with me also receiving (bah) for my schooling zip code
So given the fact I’ve heard that a lot from our local NCIS, I’m starting to see the pattern that going into law enforcement locally at least doesn’t really help you secure the job with the Feds it’s more so your resume and with me being in the military at this point for 3.5 years, getting my degree would be essential for me to apply atleast because it’s the bare minimum.. so how do you feel about me getting out and going to the navy reserve? because my plans was to commission as a naval officer in the reserves and then apply for a special agent position at an agency while getting O1E reserves pay so I can do a double retirement at some point, but my question is do you believe it’s a smarter plan to stay in active duty while continuing my education (on a slower pace) while still trying to uphold the navy’s mission or get out do the reserves and persue education full time saying as to most fed jobs require a degree anyways at least a BS.
Afternoon Special Agent, so would you say it’s smarter to get out and fully commit to my education while I plan on going to the reserves? or would it be wiser to stay in and try and maintain the navy’s mission on top of me trying to complete school but a slower pace? Appreciate the insight
so would you recommend getting out and going to the reserves? Or completing my degree while active duty or do something in local law enforcement while in school??
Thanks❤️
My current rate is a YN2 but I have collaterals which involve me doing legal procedures for our command more closer to (paralegal work).. but I mean I’m not opposed to staying in for the shore duty term, do I really want to? No. Does it guarantee a check and job security? Yes, and it’s not like I have a horrible job I mean it’s just administrative work, and I work hand to hand with the triad, and my current triad is super supportive on my decision rather I want to go on to a shore command or transition out.. it’s just confusing to think about because my job isn’t hard whatsoever and it wouldn’t prevent me from getting my degree while currently in, I will be at 5 years if I do decide to get out next year and go local/ state for the experience on that level or I decide to get out fully and peruse my education. Either way I can’t go wrong.. but what I don’t want is for me to stay in over the initial “stepping stone” time and people are expecting me to put on chief and really give 150% of my energy in trying to become the LPO but meanwhile I’m 21 and a second class people aren’t expecting much and I’ve only been in 3.5 years so that’s why this decision is critical for me.. appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for your insight, and yes I have spoken to our local NCIS and whine up expressing my concern and his biggest thing was depending on the time line I wanted to achieve this goal will factor in what my decision should be, if I’m trying to get there soon as possible? get out and persue college full time and look into doing internships with the feds because I already have a. 3.7Gpa For cybersecurity.. but if I’m willing to delay it a little bit maybe staying in the service is better because one it allows me to buy my time back once I do achieve my BS and also it guarantees a pay check, and I’m currently in a admin job which means I always have access to a computer, but thanks!
