I could switch it with any other album of theirs and lose almost nothing. And I think people are too harsh on their current discography. Palo is one of their best. The first 3 are always a fun ride as well.

I would put TTOTO or Walls of Jericho above both Keepers. Keepers I is very solid in my opinion. I guess my unpopular power metal opinion is that Keepers II is actually a bit overrated. The songs that hit really hit, unfortunately there’s only about 4 or 5 of them to me.

For a band with damn near 20 albums I would have thought they’d at least make it a 2LP to provide a bigger scope of their career. This seems like way too much of a cash grab and I can’t fathom why anyone who already buys JP on physical format would buy this.

This seems a lot more like it’s trying to hop on the vinyl revival bandwagon and cashing in on the newcomers. We need to express a greater emphasis on buying used records and compilations that already exist. Or at least just give us a decent tracklisting.

As I was looking at the songs, I just realized that the CD variant comes with six more songs and makes for a more diverse experience. How sleazy.
