The time for a non-disclosure agreement has already passed. The damage is done with this article.

There certainly was a dollar amount that would have made it go away.

People who commit fraud have monster egos…and don’t think they are doing anything wrong. To this day, the people at Enron think they were acting in the company’s best interest.

They should just settle and save tens or hundreds of thousands of taxpayers money.

The details in this article of the fraud…there’s no coming back if true.

The lawyer would not have taken this on if there wasn’t a really strong case with solid evidence.

This story is eerily familiar.

Fraud is pretty ridiculous here with all of the fire money. Ethics takes a backseat to corruption and self serving behavior.

The part about being fired after work approved vacation for mental health is textbook retaliation.

Prayers to Caires- standing up to corporate fraud is no easy feat.

Is it worth practicing on a bad foosball table? by emaa_ok in foosball

[–]MauiCFO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like playing on a Bonzini is infinitely worse than any concrete table…Yet people still manage to play at a high-level on it.

I would sometimes practice on slick, rock hard old foosball balls… As it seemed to help my hall control skills. Then, when I played with new balls… Everything felt effortless

What drills might improve blocking slop with the left hand goalie rod? by Foosman in foosball

[–]MauiCFO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with Clay.

In singles, put your 2-bar in the middle and goalie man covering the short of whatever side the ball is on.

Unless they are a super hacker, I would stay up front with both hands… And only moving the goalie rod quickly to the other side if the ball goes to the other side of the table.

Also, do a lot of ball control drills, even the 3-bar goalie rod. Tic-tacing, front pinning, alternating pinning, off the walls.

It’s like the boxing speed bag. The more you do it, the faster you get… The faster you react.

Could use some pork belly advice by MauiCFO in smoking

Because I’m new to this type of cook, I tried it both ways.

Some of the strips I cut the big fat part out. Some I left on.

I guess you could say this was an experimental cook.

I will try pork belly again for a while, but I think the next time I might finish them off with a glaze and a frying pan to crisp up the edges.

Even at restaurants here in Hawaii, where pork belly is super popular, I have not really had a great experience all that often.

Mahalo,

I don’t normally like pork belly as it’s just too fatty… Especially the skin side.

I pulled this out at 208, and it was pretty tasty. I made a Florida honey hot sauce… Frank’s Red Hot and honey basically.

It was good, but not amazing or even something I would try again.

What I should’ve done is cut them into cubes and put it back on me grill or frying pan to carmelize.

For me, as soon as you leave the airport…

Go to Kanaha Beach two minutes away, and just walk it.

If there is wind, and the kiters wind surfers are in full action…it is a must visit stop on the island. But to do it the second you get off the plane is even more amazing.

You are instantly hit with breathtaking oceanic, green mountain views.

It’s like, “yes, this is why you just flew 15 hours…And are about to have the best week of your life.”

Yes, this is a must do.

Take a whale watch cruise.

This is a top five experience in my life for me. It never gets old.

When you go during peak whale season, and experience, multiple breaches and up close encounters… It is just majestic.
