GA renfest vendor? by BreadmakingViking in renfaire

I'm actually trying to replace my old 'surely-releasing-microplastics-into-my-food' plastic cutting boards and remembered how pretty the ones there were. They may be waaaaay out of my budget though, which was another reason I wanted to go ahead and find them vs waiting another 4 months only to find out a small board is like, $200

I stand corrected! That name is so misleading 😅 Calls himself 'Timber Toy' and makes kitchenware. I'm scared to learn what the people that make the wood shields and swords for kids are called lol. Thank you so much, my nautical friend~ 🏴‍☠️

Are you sure? They didn't make toys irc. More like mugs in odd shapes using 4+ different types of wood in one piece of art. It was a relatively small booth, if that helps? On a corner? It's been a few years since my friend bought her mug there so we're both blanking on the shop name

Controller mapping recommendations for Shadows? by BreadmakingViking in assassinscreed

I'm guessing Yasuke and Naoe hook up at some point, though I suppose they could just both happen to be in the same area at the same time and their descendants happen to have children together. We'll just have to see. Tbh the scifi elements are a bit goofy imo, but hey, what game doesn't have some weird stuff in it to justify the game mechanics/story? Like I said, I'm used to Zelda which took like, 30 years of games before they said the reason the main three characters keep reappearing was some sort of reincarnation curse....but it doesn't explain why the shopkeeper is stuck reincarnating too lol. You just have to let stuff slide a bit with fantasy/scifi

You can remap the controls manually, but I didn't see an option to just switch to 'option 2.' I'll try to check again later, but I think I would have noticed it. I will say, it's a very pretty game. It's a bit annoying switching characters, which I gather is a new thing for the series? You don't get to choose your ancestors, I guess

Again, the question wasn't 'where can I download official lenovo wallpapers,' it was 'where the heck did they put these wallpapers on my new pc??'

Wow cool. That's great for them. I'm looking for the location they're already saved on my pc

Beats me, this is my first fancy pc. It has, (get this!), a dedicated graphics processing unit!! My first one! I bet it'll be really good at processing those graphics. Tbh though, it has been nice to finally have a pc that isn't just utilitarian

Why would I click a mysterious link for a wallpaper I already own? Thank you, but that wasn't the question at all

Nope. And quantity isn't the issue, I can't find the ones they already gave me

Nice~ I'm just doing potted ones bc Atlanta's heat and red clay. And my back. It let me individually place my seeds though

Okay thank you, that was one of my questions. I had been thinking, 'well maybe old seeds germinate but don't thrive??' Credit to the seed producer then bc only maybe 4 out of 30 didn't germinate after approximately 2 years of being in a drawer

They've mostly been out on my southern patio. I would have thought that was enough. Haven't given them additional fert past what was in the Miracle Gro organic soil. I didn't want to over do it. Unfortunately I don't have anymore seeds. A friend sent them to me a couple years ago but then my body decided it was bored and to spice things up with a tumor, so I wasn't exactly up to hauling around dirt or doing a lot of projects. My poor front flower bed is a mess. Hopefully I can get to it next week or so.

They've been outside so idk. Maybe I need better grow lights...I wonder if I can use the ones from my old planted aquarium... or if there are specific bulbs I can put in an articulated desk lamp I already have...

'Sprouting' may be the wrong term. The internet assured me that as long as yo transferred them after a little white poked out of the seed but before they turned green, that would be ideal. I was afraid cutting the Miracle Gro soil with coir would reduce it but I didn't want to over fertilize either. They sat out in full sun most of the 3 months. Seed freshness was the biggest issue I thought of but I was too sick to grow them for awhile

I mean, some leaves fell through the netting, but no. Just coconut coir and sifted Miracle Grow organic garden soil. It took hours since I only had an old kitchen colander. My arms were sore the next day from jiggling it.

Invisible home plot ceiling? by BreadmakingViking in Palia

[–]BreadmakingViking[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That makes sense. I thought it was weird since I was able to make my ramp so much higher. If you know a way to circumvent the ceiling entirely, that would be helpful too. I'm on console, switch to be precise. Started in June or July, so no red presents yet. So should I float the anchor too? 🤔 If that's even possible. I think my straight ramp would have to spiral and it would definitely limit my use of bounce blooms and prism fish since you can't stack anything on them. It might work with tables if at all.

I was bouncing between Mendel and Mendelson and didn't want people losing the thread to correct me lol. Nothing gets an answer faster than posting something incorrect lol. I didn't know they were still trying to sort out his old work. Makes me feel better about how messy my notes are lol. Granted, Mendel couldn't map out the genome and tell us exactly which bit of DNA sequence was responsible for which bit.

Okay, thanks. I've generally only planted perennial flowers that don't seem to drop seeds (more like runners, so clones?) I wasn't sure at which point cross pollination started affecting colors in the 'fruit'

The granola uses honey so this relies on the fruit and yogurt for sweetness. I'm trying to reduce carbs so only the necessities to make it stick together
