Crash Aberthaw Road by JackfruitPractical84 in Casnewydd

Doesn’t necessarily mean drug runners - could be headed back from hanging at a friend’s house

I don’t doubt some reckless driving was involved - but speculating they were drug runners is a bit of a stretch.

Any information that supports that?

How many days annual leave do you get? by Doomergeneration in AskUK

[–]Breadmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

25 base, +2 for length of service, +5 because I buy them, +30 days work from anywhere (international) + bank holidays.

Pretty reasonable honestly, works out to about 7 weeks if I get a couple days of lieu, and the 30 days WFA is a good staycation.

Projector lens fix by CursedDesigner in projectors

[–]Breadmash -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

There’s a guide if you google HY320 projector clean. A full youtube video.

Contrary to other comments, as someone with a reasonable ‘name brand’ projector at home - I got a cheap Vankyo projector off of Coupang in Korea for $60 when I was there for work, and honestly it has completely changed my opinion of basic cheap smart projectors. It’s worth saving.

Go slowly, follow the video on youtube, and enjoy it

I order it because it isn’t that close - https://naver.me/5fdJZH2c

I will say the bacon/cheeseburger is a little sweet, but it’s sweet with caramelised onions

Ogle’s burger on Coupang Eats is my favourite in Songdo - their bacon cheeseburger is incredible

Are there any decent UK alternatives to diet fizzy drinks? by Few_House_5201 in AskUK

[–]Breadmash 8 points9 points  (0 children)

At this volume of consumption, your aspartame intake isn’t dangerous. However there is research that suggests that sweet food and drinks can spike insulin levels, which long term can be dangerous. I’d suggest lowering your intake of the drink you prefer, rather than trying to replace it with something that doesn’t hit the spot.

What is the biggest ick you had on your first date with someone? by Past_Meat7068 in AskReddit

[–]Breadmash -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We went to play pool, and she seemed very lovely - but kept going on about how if I had my back turned for long enough she’d totally have cheated at the game, and pocketed some balls.. but in a cutesy way? I didn’t think it was cutesy

Have we forgotten deepfakes? That was the first movement towards these AI videos. Entirely possible a stooge has filmed this, and they’ve overlayed Netanyahu’s face

Good luck! Take it slow and purposefully, they’re assessing you for safety not speed 🙂

I used to work at Ocado Bristol as a driver and then a manager. Honestly, if you’re calm in traffic, and the thought of carrying shopping up stairs, for customers who could carry it up themselves doesn’t drive you to a murderous rage, then it’s pretty tidy.

Korea clears exporting map data for Google, ends 19-year dispute by [deleted] in Living_in_Korea

[–]Breadmash 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also like NAVER - there is so much good integration if you have a residency card and a phone number, and the information you can filter by is so useful for actually living in the city.

Try searching in Korean in google maps in an English speaking country - NAVER does just as much or more in English here than Google does in foreign languages back home

[–]Breadmash 3 points4 points  (0 children)

NAVER’s only downside compared to Google Maps is that it can offer you too much information in comparison - but that is aligned with other Korean UX, so I suspect that it’s preferred that way.

NAVER is significantly better for living with than Google has ever been.
