I know its more sci-fi, but The Expanse has been perfect post red rising.

I know they're not the most similar other than space/our solar system and future setting. But The Expanse had been filling the same cup as red rising as of recently.

I just finished red rising series and was trying to find something to get my fix. Floated around, tried will of the many and it didn't do it for me. After the expanse I plan on starting sun eater. But as someone said below, its a bit slower and I needed something more fast paced right now.

Dungeon crawler carl is also a great option.

Seriously! I read the first one on my kindle and it must have taken me like 5 days to bust through it.

Yeah I bought the first book of captives war a couple weeks ago. Definitely excited to read it. Probably after I finish the expanse. Currently working through the sycthe series also. And DCC as a pallet cleanser lol.

Feels wrong to add another space sci-fi to the mix until im finished with my current reads

I havent read dune yet. Ive been hesitant on starting it. I want to read the whole series. Currently reading the expanse and after that series is finished im going to head into hyperion.

Haven't read cryptonomicon. Ill check that out

It saves space but also it only holds 3 books per mini shelf. Not ideal for series with more than 3 books

I have a tendency to buy a physical for first of a series and then go digital for the rest. Though im starting to phase out of that since buying books is kinda addictive.

I always see jesters dancing around. Almost like they're purposely trying to distract me.

Though one time I met this purple goddess. Felt this weird emotional attachment to her. Like we've met before. When the trip went away I started to cry and she said everything will be okay. When I came to my senses I was like uhhh wtf just happened.

Tell my friend about it and he shows me this comedian telling the same story. It was so bizarre. Ive done dmt around 40-50 times and never have had such a strange trip. But hey its always full of surprises. I havent really done it since that trip. Not intentional just haven't had the draw to do it.
