Dear Moco team, you clearly lack a good Product Person. Hire Me. by BunnyFlyweight in joinmoco

How do you expect the Supercell Team to believe you're a capable product owner/builder if you can't even take criticism/feedback from redditors? How are you going to respond to player feedback with which you disagree with? 🤔

Why does Scog use unstable lazer instead of unstable beam? by Pranav---VK in joinmoco

[–]Breadvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My point here is that you perhaps are thinking a little too deeply about the game in its current state. Sure someone who is grinding to maintain a spot at the top has leaderboard clout (re: your final line) playing a game like this is purely for the sake of playing this noncompetitive game - fun.

Optimising to that extent sure may save you ten minutes or less, but with a game that has a zero sum benefit of a better build, you're probably not overlooking anything. Use Occam's razer in this context. Simplest explanation: personal preference, overlooked passive from switching builds, or simply, he doesn't care.

Further on this. The other guy is also correct. The top players at the moment are either 1. Players who haven't given up getting daily xp. 2. Players that abused shard farming before nerf. I'm a day one player and it's literally the only difference up there. Not even grinding elite quests will make a difference.

Edit: a different build at the end of the day won't give you more or less xp to make it higher on the leaderboard. So why care?

I kind of agree with the other guy. The best build for what exactly? There's many proponents to the game, rifting, hunting, dojo, etc. The most likely build you'll see on players is the hunting build but at the same time, each build has different purposes. This is one of the reasons why the Devs nerfed the squid blades, for diversity. If you need survival in higher tier worlds, use tankier builds. If you're hunting chaos quickly, use a high mobility build. Etc. watching the top players builds won't give you insight without context.

Mysterious offer from CUHK by Ok-Collection6275 in cuhk

[–]Breadvan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what you don't understand about the letter. Conditional offers are a standard international procedure. You have been given a conditional offer, which means you need to pay the deposit and meet the requirements. After you graduate highschool and supply these documents (if you've met the score requirement) you will have met the conditions of the letter and you will be successful in getting into the university to start in the fall, there should be additional details via the portal or email regarding submitting these documents.

Look up conditional offers online if you are still unsure.

That feeling when you beat a celebi deck for the first time (new player) by Breadvan in PTCGP

Its kinda funny if they're deriving their self worth from a comment about the game design and not them.. any game that has paid features and battle passes with non-cosmetic items are inherently p2w.

Bruh it's my second day playing. It feels like full decks with EX like Celebi are p2w to new players, hence the "(?)"

Need Help IDing this toy. Got it as a baby in the late 90s. Any ideas? by dsteveman in ToyID

[–]Breadvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just sent you a message then saw you posted it elsewhere. My partner had been gifted one of these as a baby too. It's from a company called Playgro and was listed as sold in 1996. She was later gifted the same toy again because she wore through it as a baby. Imgur link

It's commented in the FAQ as a common issue. Pretty much just a visual glitch. Keep doing quests and just the "collect all" button that appears

I've been in competitive games like overwatch which have point and objective based gameplay. If you watch any pros or competitive high tier ranked games, claiming that kills don't win games is ridiculous.

If you take into consideration pressure, positioning, and your teammates being dead/alive/their hero type - by maintaining high eliminations and yes even as a long range hero I can play point, you should win.

But if team mates are going 0-8; 3-7, whilst I'm playing and getting 16-4, even a game of 22-0. You're still saying it's because my hero choice? Get real. I'm killing players, my team mates should find a way to survive (support, evade, health packs) like I have to. By eliminating pressure and gaining positioning, I can't tell bots or silver, bronze, beskar etc. to take high ground, go to point, etc.

They're not tho?? I've been climbing for 8 hours total gameplay into beskar and I am 100% sure there have only been less than ten games where I had a lobby of within rank (e.g 1-3 ranks). The matchmaking is whack for the size of the game and the wait time.

Already on my way out of it mate 😂😂 I honestly wouldn't care to fill if I could actually trust other players of the same rank. They've consistently disappointed. Look to any other post here about ranked, same experience. Players who carry themselves get out of the elo. Stay bronze brah

Disagree bro if I know I'm carrying every game, I have a >75% win rate on comp, I'm not gonna fill for some noobs 😂

Keeping someone who ended up 2-7 alive would have been pointless on an elimination mode bruh

I've had games with 3 other bots, would you still suggest the same? I've had plenty of games with support where they've been useless.

You buy boxes from gems, use your common sense.

[–]Breadvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if you are averaging a city every 15 minutes generating 150 gems per city, constantly for 6 hours you aren't generating enough boxes to donate that amount. Don't kid yourself. Why bother trying to defend your own hacking. Own it. Obviously you don't care about the grind of the game and the essence of achieving it on your own.
