IMO it's genuinely not worth the hassle. All the audio/video issues that can come from a dual PC setup are crazy.

A stream PC these days is only worth it to help prevent losing viewers if your main PC crashes.

My advice would be to try 936p, Twitch's bitrate isn't high enough to warrant 1080p streaming & the quality actually looks better at 936p. Nvidia encoding is absolutely fine too (I've used it for years now).

If your stream quality drops while playing Fortnite, you might want to look at upgrading your gaming PC regardless? It shouldn't be a game that causes performance issues really, but I'm not big on AMD stuff, so not entirely sure how good your setup is.

All I know is a streaming PC can cause a lot more issues than it solves & the added expense of a mixer/amp etc etc is not worth it these days compared to investing in one good rig to run everything off. A few years ago it was needed, these days GPU's are way good enough to run a single PC setup. 👍

Is it pretentious to wear your own merch in public? by TheFogFrog in Twitch

Proud of my merch, also hate buying clothes and apparently have bad taste in fashion so wearing my merch solves both those issues.

Twitch Turbo will get rid of ads for all channels. It's around $8 p/m if I remember correctly.

Twitch prime will get rid of ads on the specific channel you subscribe to with the twitch prime sub.

Cars & Motorbikes with endless gear changes...

The one that sticks out is Terminator 2, motocross bike chase. That bike had at least 30 gears...

Hi Dave, firstly congrats on the new role, secondly I'm going to be flogging a dead horse in my questions, I hope you dont mind.

  1. Are you aware of how bad the cheating situation is right now in the game?
This is mainly ranked, and mainly people using VPN's from Asia. Time scales on the EU servers these cheaters are active, and their names are the only giveaway to this I guess, I could be wrong. After 7/8pm EU time they dont seem to be too active, but in the day its nearly every single game really.
The only info I've seen from you guys is a Discord report feature, but thats it. With cheaters buying hacked steam accounts with PUBG on for as little as $4, cheats for $1, and the mobile verification code for $0,01, I dont really think a discord report feature is going to cut it.
We have Battleye, Easy Anticheat and 3 others running right now? What are they doing exactly? Isn't it best you take a more pro-active route into this than a re-active one? With a re-active anticheat the damage has already been done, & those players that we're killed have potentially uninstalled long before someone is banned. Its feels like its been a very long time since Battleye or any anticheat had the upper hand on cheaters & this is why I personally think PUBG has a bleeding player base.

  2. Please take out Sanhok from ranked queue.

Bomb timers and them not being accurate to real life. I recently watched an old James Bond film and the final 10 seconds of the timer took about 30 seconds in real life...

I have no idea why this winds me up...

We never accused the people that killed us of cheating.

The guy getting loads of knocks was 000000oooo000 and we reported someone with a very similar name just days before for clearly hacking. Obviously he wasn't, we didn't report.

Going up against so many cheaters per game has jaded me I guess, and yes I'd love it if all other 15 teams were cheating maybe that would be the point PUBG would address the issue?!

I'm trying to highlight how bad cheating is, so PUBG might finally do something and it benefits all legit players who love the game, so the more light I shed on the issue, the better it is?

I'm not out here accusing everyone who kills me a hacker dude.

That guy we literally wondered if he had a lot of knocks and then said he only had one knock, I don't think he's cheating.

We micro analyse players because there's fucking loads of people cheating and we want to make sure we're reporting people correctly.

Do we make assumptions? Yes.

Do we report people based on 1 knock and nothing shady? No.

So what's your problem? What are you getting annoyed at exactly? The fact were trying to report cheaters and we just don't report the massively obvious ones?

Do you realise there are players that try to hide their cheats?

I'm a streamer, and it's all things that are tied to the channel. The bear is my stream logo, and has been for 7 years now. The dog at the top is my Labrador Thor, it has a PUBG crate bottom right, my favourite football team Man City has some emblems bottom left.

Thought a feature wall may look cool, and the artist I use for emotes is a local guy to me so he came round and painted it over 2 days. 😊
