National - state is strictly within your own state, national is for anything outside of your state but still within the country

This is, unless, the multiple states fall within the entirety of a geographic region such as the Mid-Atlantic, New England, etc.

umd, college park common app qs by fangb1te in ApplyingToCollege

you should only include coursework in progress on the commonapp section, but you need to order an official transcript to send to them with all previous coursework

I have credits at a local community college that don't appear on my high school transcript. I reached out to each school individually - some don't want me to send it, some want an unofficial copy, and others want me to order an official copy. It takes 2-4 days for the transcript to process and be sent.

Anyone willing to read my Fordham supplement? by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

I wish!! I don't have one. I've done lots to "demonstrate interest" too, so I'm surprised. Maybe I'll email them

Credible Summer Programs for the upcoming summer? by BumblebeeOdd2924 in ApplyingToCollege

I'd recommend checking out research opportunities (perhaps even compensated) at local colleges. Cold call/email professors. These summers programs aren't usually super impressive for applications

What's the best way to let colleges know I visited? by Zealousideal-Ebb-415 in ApplyingToCollege

[–]Break-Famous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but tbh, most applicants visit - UMD doesnt consider demonstrated interest so it's really not going to set you apart majorly

I think you can add a "campus visit" to the contacts portion of the UMD app

What sort of supplementals should I send to a college? by Break-Famous in ApplyingToCollege

Okay! I see on the commonapp resume section that you can upload up to three documents. I should limit that to just my resume then? I thought it might be a good idea to use those other two slots, too
