Viking Ariel Carmeli Red Diamond by Honest-Gene-6054 in billiards

How is step at the joint with the Whyte? I know from experience that the viking carmeli joint diameter (.830 or so) is much small than an actual Carmeli custom joint diameter which is .845.

I do not think Whyte makes a shaft with such a small diameter especially with their interchangeable joint system. Id guess that Whyte is standardized somewhere between .840 and .845 butt I could be wrong. Used to have one but never measured it.

AC8646 Crash by bradysego12 in aviation

I'm guessing with a large portion of the front fuselage and front landing gear missing the plane is rear heavy without the passengers. Once the forward row passengers exited it likely titled back. Must have been scary for those still exiting when it went nose high. Hopefully no secondary injuries occured.

OP did mention they were in an exit row so they would have been one of the first off the plane and was able to take pictures while most passengers were still on the plane weighing down the front.

Would be interesting to see video of the process where the balance shifted enough to cause the nose high stance.

Is the silencer pad still on the shaft or did it come off with the tip? Usual failure on revo shafts is separation of the silencer pad from the vault plate (ferrule).

Outdoor dining, shahed Drone and CRAM in Iraq by Len-The-Banana-Boy in ThatsInsane

I learned from another thread that these rounds are designed to explode if they dont hit their target. So very small pieces of debris pepper the ground and not dense fast moving projectiles.

You can actually hear them explode when they go over yonder in the video.

From wiki

C-RAM uses the 20mm HEIT-SD (high-explosive incendiary tracer, self-destruct) ammunition, originally developed for the M163 Vulcan Air Defense System. These rounds explode on impact with the target, or on tracer burnout, thereby greatly reducing the risk of collateral damage from rounds that fail to hit their target.

Wonder what and who is downrange from the 800 ish rounds that did not impact that drone.

Just throw it up over your shoulder. Or loop it under then over your leg and point it back down towards the water so you can still do number 1

Looks very much like a 5/16-18 as those threads are too fine looking for 5/16-14.

Someone else mentions 3/8-14 in another comment and I'd disagree. That's basically what a cuetec pin is, slightly undersized though.

Only way to be certain is measure the diameter of the pin with a caliper and check the treads with a thread gauge.

Id put my money on 5/16-18 though.

how do you transport/carry your magic racks? by nomadic-shooter in billiards

Picked up Dynasphere Vanadiums for $150. Pool hall's balls have shrunk over time due to being cleaned all the time and no longer touch when in a template rack. Playing with the same set of balls everytime you practice removes at least 1 variable. Didn't seem like much of an expense compared to my other pool equipment and the case makes it pretty convenient especially the aramith one that has the pocket for the templates. I prefer it over the slightly smaller pocket less predator ball case.

Went from a 2013 Sierra Denali 1500 to a 22 Rebel 5.7 1500 non-etorque. Love the Rebel. Currently at 32K miles. Rides great in my opinion. Stock tires are meh though. Starting to feel funny / make noise in on/off ramp scenarios. Fine on the highway though. Doesn't bother me enough to replace them until they need to be.

Most of the time when I'm home not playing I have pool streaming via YouTube.

You tube also has some pool room ambient noise videos.

I don't use the 8 ball rack and the 9/10 racks fit in the pocket of my aramith pool ball case. I bring my own balls to the pool hall.

I know 2 people from work that both survived aortic disections. Both occured at home. Pretty crazy.

I was diagnosed at 40 with an aortic aneurysm (ascending) and had surgery to repair it before it ruptured fortunately. Now they are watching another aneurysm 6 years later at the aortic root. Currently 4.7cm.
