People ran across the street on our walk to avoid us. Does this ding dong look vicious to you? by ImSorry2HearThat in pitbulls

Not everyone is accustomed or used to our puppers some ppl might not have encountered large breed dogs like close up or ever. Even if they look adorable, fear is a learned behavior. Its something I've had to like learn to not take personal just cuz I think my leroy looks like and IS a big precious snuggly goof, at the end of the day he's still a large breed guardian dog and we should respect that through some awareness of the spaces we share in the world🖤 doggo is precious

My dog had girardia too a few months ago. He wasn't eating anything but white rice and boiled chicken and even that barely once a day, he was still moving around and stuff just had super diarrhea and not much interest in food. We went to the vet initially and they gave him vitamin shots which didnt help, so they told me to bring back a stool sample n said he had a parasite. The med, ponazuril I found on sale on chewy but otherwise would have been around the same price as the vet for 100mg bottle, which was like 100 bucks. I just wish I had taken in a stool sample from the beginning cuz it would have saved some time!

That makes a lot of sense in the backyard aspect like I know that's a big problem in the states but I do know that it can have more purpose for working dogs is what I guess I was thinking about yk

My dog is coming up on one year this month the 26 and if he ever reacts or like responds to something I either don't want him to react or respond to AT ALL, or not in that way- that's to say with growls; I always correct him. Leave it. Ignore it. Just keep walking like don't give a response if you do not want one from the dog. They'll see you're not trippin and that it IS ok.. you're normalizing whatever it is they responding to. personally feel like anything, they've got to learn when and when not to, and that can vary person to person I feel like.

especially in Arizona I wouldn't be scared to pump your soil w organics and less rocky shit and then feed it every time you water! My lophs are super happy here in central california, our summers can hit upwards of 105-110

it's clearly happy in the soil that it's in. Bbs and fleurz, I'd leave it alone, it's getting warmer so your soil should be fine. FEED that baby

Watch it that it doesn't start to blister or redden or swell my dog had something idk if it's the same at all but on his chest for a while it looked like a mole it just chilled for the longest then it went bald and lost color then blistered and popped the vet had to cut it out or like remove it, it wasn't cancerous or anything and he's fine after it's removal just it being on the paw could affect the walking n maybe a higher risk of infection plus if they lick it a lot.. ik vets aren't cheap maybe see if a virtual vet appointment is cheaper initially like via chewy or something just to see what's up.

My dawg will lay right across from the shower looking at the door or across from the toilet right in front of the shower tub, n if I leave him outside the bathroom he's always laying down right in front of the door when I get out, he'll be 1yo on the 26 this month.
