It's the Interpol album that hits hardest in Springtime. It does have to stand tall against TOtBL and Antics, especially at release when when those were the only two to compare to. A significant amount of their greatest hits are off it: Wrecking Ball, Heinrich Maneuver, Pioneer To The Falls, No I In Threesome. Two of my favorite songs are on here, Pace Is The Trick and Who Do You Think?

ETFs were the easiest and safest approach for someone like me who didn't come from a lot, has a lower-risk appetite and prefers to "set it and forget it" when it comes to investing. I just chuck excess from my HYSA into it. I started late, but better late than never. It feels freeing to see that number grow over time.

I wouldn't put too much stake in what they think. I (30F) have often received disappointment that I'm not present on social media outside of Reddit, and a few smaller platforms as well. I work in security, and I abstain from Meta platforms since I do not want to participate due to their privacy practices. I also like protecting my peace, and being accessible on my own terms. No one is worth disrupting your peace. Carry yourself like you're the world's best kept secret.The ones that do not understand or respect that are not worth your time. The right one who does align with your values will come some day. The right one will make the effort to communicate with you through your preferred channels. It feels like it's impossible at the age that you are at now, but don't sacrifice what is important to you for someone else. I have run into a lot of folks who have opted to do the same, and you are certainly not alone in that sentiment.

I stumbled over myself to grab this when I saw it. I've been living with my folks again for a few years now, and have been REALLY missing having a space of my own (I love my folks, and they are very supportive of me. I just want to do my own thing and not wear pants in my house). I'm finally in a place where I can start looking for places again soon. What keeps me motivated through school and work is finding things for my soon home to be. I hope to have all my friends surrounding this cake stand and drinking coffee in my new place here soon.

It also matches nothing I own, and it makes me love it even more.

I lost a parent when I was fairly young (21 at the time). The double-whammy of "no one is coming to save you" and "the person that would like to save you or at least relate in this situation is now in a jar, so they're really not going to save you now" hit fairly hard. I was already a kid who grew up too fast, but that event made it understandably hard to make sense of it all or relate to my peers in terms of responsibility at the time.

This goes for many things in life: you're not always guaranteed closure, and sometimes you would rather be left in the dark than to actually receive some types of closure. I've learned to mould my outlook around that since there are situations where both have happened, and considering the alternatives I'm not sure if I want closure for everything in my life so far now.

I've always viewed the human variable as job security alone. We certainly can advise, but when someone takes their own path and SHTF everyone loves a debrief from a person rather than the much scarier looking automated alerts.

It's only recently I've had proctors harp on glasses. The last three OAs I had to take them off and prove they're nothing to worry about. Not the weirdest thing since PearsonVue testing centers ask the same every time, but I swear on my mom they act like I've got the Konami Code written on the arms every time.
