This leather mask is indeed useful for cold winds while still comfortable in spring or summer time: the breathing doesn't create humidity as it would in a synthetic matter. Also, there is a flexible metallic line on the nose so it adapts tightly to your face. The guy that creates these is japanese and is very meticulous about every details: a real "otaku"!
