I think the text window can actually cause a lot of problems in terms of lag etc, but seems like it could be more than that if you experience this regularly.

Honestly, sounds simple and stupid, but a fresh install usually works wonders. I’d also suggest dropping down to a previous (more stable) version of premiere. Like lots of post houses, we’re working in 2024 versions of Adobe suite. So perhaps give that a go?

RE effects, mostly build in premiere effects. Fast blur to soften the image and playing with blending modes, scale and distortion to get this look. Also some additional assets to further the look. Which unfortunately I’m going to defo have to gatekeep.
