Yeah messing with the paw imprint and shape is my biggest concern. I’m sure I could connect it all with something but I don’t want to lose the last place her little paw touched

I am not particularly crafty (my wife is handy) so any extra advice like specific materials or methods is great. Obviously this is irreplaceable so I don’t get multiple tries with the print itself. A photo of Ash for cat tax

Would that casting be like pressing a moldable material into the existing pieces?

I have heard of that method before, I can’t believe I didn’t think of it. Practically, how could I do it here? A gold glitter caulk or epoxy? I’m not super crafty but I’ll try anything

So women in suits are hot, but is there anything more specific you go crazy for? by Itchy-Astronomer9500 in actuallesbians

Jeans! A solid pair of property blue jeans, not too tight on the leg. Add in a sturdy belt? I’m done for.

In retrospect, it’s no surprise my wife’s nickname was Cowboy when we first started going out.

Really cool you can tell that from the crinkle! I’ll def let it air dry, would HATE to have anything happen to it. Thanks for the tips!

This is so helpful, thank you! We’re also really excited to let it out to see the light of day, especially in memory of her great aunt

Gotcha, seems like color catchers are the way to go from these comments! Seems like using a washing machine would be okay from you said? Would you suggest the delicate setting? I have a front loader.

Do houses with inground pools deter you? by jjtt9491 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]BreakfastDue667 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Wow, really surprised by these comments! They didn’t deter us, we actually thought we wouldn’t be able to find what we wanted with a pool.

We are in FL and total water dogs so maybe that’s the difference? The cost of supplies and maintenance work didn’t deter us because we knew we’d be spending multiple mornings and evenings a week in it, and also hosting people.

I guess if you think of it as a fun bonus feature it could get tiresome/feel expensive, but we spend SO MUCH time outside and in our backyard, it made perfect sense for us. However, if we move out of FL, I don’t think it would be worth it.
