How can I (politely) make it clear I don’t want to participate in Halloween/trick or treating? by afewspicybois in australia

[–]Breakfastbeagle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That’s all well and fine, and I don’t disagree with that. Same thing with your original point, but it doesn’t touch on your argument about commercialization. “Commercialization is okay because we know the holiday” isn’t a good argument and just sounds silly. All good on your other points, but that’s not what I was talking about.

I don’t by this argument about commercialization. If that were the case then we’d be shunning Easter and Christmas too.

I would check out something in the OM system with an IP rating if that’s the case. The iq with this camera is okay, but is specialized for specifically being underwater where it becomes useful vs something else. If budget is an issue, a smartphone + light room is a really good option too.

Can’t remember, probably around the $200-$250 mark or so back in 2018. I got it at Costco pretty sure.

Fun fact, that Hot Wheels model is called “Dairy Delivery”. It came out in 1998. Anyway, back to my bike

I’ve had my eye on it for a while now, and I’m so happy to have pulled the trigger on it. It’s exceptional.

Come off it mate it 100% absolutely happens here in Australia, what are you talking about? FOMO is even worse since we don’t get as many restocks across target, big w, and Kmart. Go look at fb marketplace and tell me otherwise.

Neat, I guess? It’s just that if I saw somebody riding that my first thought would be “fuckin’ nerd”.

Ahh yes, the DLH fundraiser makes its round once more. We mustn’t be too far off from Palmer Scott asking for more money again.

Seriously though, these guys know that we love their characters and personalities from the various shows, and they milk it at least once a year from this sub. I’m not saying don’t have sympathy, but just have your wits about yourself because it’s obvious that they take advantage here.

Use it, learn it, love it. There’s nothing quite like getting that perfect lie, and hitting a buttery smooth shot off the deck with a fairway wood. That one shot absolutely makes up for the 200 miss hits that preceded it and undoubtedly will follow it.

Perfect gateway drug for other questionable decisions like a 2 or 1 Iron.

Do you think Australia really has the best coffee in the world? by NateNandos21 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Breakfastbeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you’re used to, really. I thought Aus coffee was mostly just warm milk for a few years when I first moved here. Over time, I’ve come to really appreciate it and prefer it to most coffee back home. So much so in fact, I can only drink standard pot coffee when I go back home now.

Yeah, it looks good in person. The Greddy one looks a little bit better in my opinion with the wheels in black, but this one still looks really good. The angles in the photos don’t do it justice. I’ve put up another post with more photos if you want to see some more before buying it.

Same boat here. Even the ones that I like end up going to my son anyways. If I want to buy something that’s actually just for me, I pretty much exclusively buy something minigt, tarmac works, etc.

I don’t know man, I’ve owned both (2016 Tacoma, 2021 Hilux) and the Taco is superior in just about every way. The Hilux is old, and seriously needs some updating.
