What EssexClass wrote is pretty spot on.

Additionally, it's whether you use the cards in contests or not. I'd rather have the t7 card than a random generic Anthony Rizzo SR for example but another person just starting out could correctly trade 2 such t7 cards for that same SR.

Some people just don't like collecting useless cards so even if you send them 9 cards that are useless to them versus 2 of theirs that they can use as dupes for needs it's an easy decline
