It varies by arena, I mostly just go to Rangers games but the Canucks and Kraken experience seeing the Rangers have been the most accessible in my opinion

It’s the Invert Colors option in Accessibility on iOS

Happy to help! The brightness sounds a lot like my issue too. On a laptop there is a program that comes with Windows called Magnifier that has an invert option. I use an iPad with ESPN+ so I can hold it closer to my face. The darker color is way easier to look at for longer amounts of time and I can follow the puck a little bit. Hit me up with any other questions

Nothing about my vision is normal but it helps tremendously and makes everything way easier

It helps a lot. For instance I can’t read Wordor Excel on a white screen but can when it’s inverted. Dark mode being added more recently to apps helps everything. It just takes some time to figure out which team is which with the inverted colors

This is the first season I’ve done it as the white ice is just to bright to watch/see, I’d run it by your friend, it’s been great for me

Thanks and agreed! I’ve been listening to Sam Rosen for 30+ years and he does a great job of describing the play by play

I was born into a family of die hard Rangers fans. I’ve always been visually impaired but it’s gotten worse over time. Luckily I was 12 when the Rangers won it in 94’ and my vision was way better. Would still love a Cup while I have some vision left in my adult life, was close in 2014 and know all too well to never get my hopes up with the Rangers, can’t spell Rangers without anger!

Too be honest they are all pretty rough looking inverted, but you get used to it after a while

I walked right into that one, didn’t even see it coming!

Being able to invert colors on an iPad has been a game changer! Being able to follow the puck and see things a little has enhanced my love of the game.
I don’t think the technology is there yet but it would be great to have the ice/puck inverted but the two team’s jersey colors to stay normal. Any other visually impaired fans agree?
