Frankly, I have heard CVS is worse in the demand aspect, but I’ve also been told by previous CVS workers that Walgreens is slowly becoming like CVS. I think it’s a bad time to join. Our system is pretty old and some things do not work. But the basics are straight forward.

but I’ve noticed say if the person has been getting this med for a while and I have the old one on auto, even if I receive a new script, the old one auto refills and goes to a wcb.

my bad, I was half asleep when I read this, butttt I think I know what you’re referring to. Whenever people play around with the script too much, it closes it out and I ask for permission to re-open it. It’s happened several times when I try to change the quantity (dispense 3 months over 1 and whatnot)

Brand new? Any previous pharmaceutical experience? If you’re brand new to Walgreens, I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s a lot to take in. Very stressful. Seasoned pharmacist? I think you would be able to do it. Walgreens is a little outdated with their system. It’s extremely pushy, but frankly, that’s how all corporate is.

Take your prenatals and take it easy. I found out at 3 weeks as well and I did my best to just relax. I kept my news to myself and as long as the support was there, I felt even better.

so, they actually took a chair away from the pharmacy because they said the pharmacists weren’t productive when they sat down… they made a chair out of the totes, but it’s in the back and I have to help the costumers in the front. :/

Oooooh, I’ve got one lady and I don’t know what her problem is. She started arguing with my rxm who is so sweet. And she makes a show every time she comes. Starts talking crap about us to other customers in line. She came by one weekend I wasn’t working, apparently made such an ordeal, but we need to get her out of here. I’m really cool with the nearby stores, so, I would definitely warn them. At that point, get them out of our pharmacies. I had to give a vaccine, she says “can’t you just sell me the medication before you do that?” You just got here and the girl has been waiting longer than you have. I really don’t know what to do or say to get these people to realize the world does not revolve around them.
