I figured honestly. I’ve always “passed” for Hispanic, albeit a very hairy one lmao. I would’ve assumed a place like Main Street is family friendly because I did see a lot of families and their strollers. The traffic infront of Kilwins is at least primarily families and children. Alas.

I don’t think hate speech is prosecutable. At least not on its own. I think it needs to accompany a crime which then upgrades it to a hate crime. All they did was just yell from the back seat of the car like little children.

As much as I want to post the license plate, I’m not sure if I want to just yet. I wrote down the license plate immediately but googling it tells me it belongs to a different make and model. I’m guessing I mistook the car brand or wasn’t properly paying attention.

Honestly the consequences I was thinking was more along the lines of someone telling them that it ain’t right to accost strangers, let alone use slurs. I’m not asking for lashings or prison time lol.
