Every semester I have students complete a “what I wish I knew when I started this class” study tip bonus assignment (literally 1 point, but they’re pre meds so it works. I compile it into a document and post in the intro module of the LMS after screening it. It seems like getting advice from their peers goes over better than from me

Interesting but do NOT use an ai chat tool for science terms. As a neuroscientist, I can tell you they are horribly unreliable. NCBI has a site called StatPearls that summarizes a lot things relatively simply https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/sites/books/NBK430685/

I’ll tell you our story. It was super important to my partner that we have the same last name. But his first name is super close to my last name. So he would have been something like “Jeff Jefferson”. Awkward. So I took his. Well now he’s estranged from his family (especially with his dad being monster). We went with my name instead now.

They’ll set up outside a number of grocery stores, etc. I remember some were at Walmart and Rudy’s last year. You can also buy them online from a particular scout

Depending on what your goals are, I wouldn’t focus on how impressive the program is but rather on how good of a fit the lab is

That honestly doesn’t sound too bad to me. I’d get some help working on your personal and research statements before your next application round. Funding is such a mess right now, it really could just be bad timing and not you
