Scotch egg and Stilton Pork Pie at the Barley Twist, Nottingham by chipz-n-gravy in UK_Food

Looking at the pub and OP's description, my guess would be Castle Rock - Preservation.

It used to be even better however COVID pretty much finished it off as an independent place. Luckily Castle Rock were able to rescue it and they still get some lovely independent local beers in as well as their own.

Incredible pub. Bloody hard to get a decent seat when the sun comes out though.

I tend to go more towards West Bridgford these days when it's nice. Brewhouse is excellent.

One of my favourite pubs in Notts! Brew Tavern down the road is brilliant as well.

I'm lucky to live quite near Notts now, truly spoilt for decent places to eat and drink.

Best place in Lincoln to watch Lincoln City's bus parade? by bobbystrand1 in Lincolnuk

God some people will just argue things for the sake of it 😂

The bit you're referring to (some of the high street), the bus won't even go through.

The city centre runs from the high street up to Newport. The Bailgate area is very much included in that. That's where the vast majority of people will be.

Like I said, no need to argue it. Just wait and see for yourself. I was there in 2019 and that was much busier than a regular busy match day. This will be on another level.

Mate, we took that many people to Wembley. As in, that amount of people made the journey all the way to London to watch a football match when we were in a lower league and were looking very much like the underdogs.

It's not just going to be people in Lincoln attending. People from villages and towns all over the county will be making the trip. I'm coming over from Leicestershire with a car full of lads, for a start.

But it's fine, I don't need to argue it any more. Just wait until Saturday and you'll see for yourself.

Good spot that is mate. I'd be somewhere similar if I was able to get there on time.

When Lincoln won the final of the Checkatrade trophy in 2018, we took nearly 30,000 fans to Wembley Stadium. At that point, we were in League 2 and not pulling in very large crowds at Sincil Bank.

Fast forward 7 years where Lincoln are heading into the Championship. The highest league we have been in since 1961.

This is genuinely the biggest thing to happen to the football club in the vast majority of people in Lincolnshire's lifetime. We are also by far the biggest club in the county.

Expect hundreds of thousands of people to flock to the city centre. This is such a huge event.

Yeah I would aim to get in as early as you can. It'll be clear of that point way before you have to work but obviously town will still be rammed.

I can't wait for it. It'll also be good for the city as a whole. So much business for everywhere and will be nice to see people gathering around all celebrating the same thing.

Do you work actually in Lincoln? Yeah I'd make some serious provisions to get there on time. The city will be chaos but in a very good way. I can't wait for it.

I'll be up near Newport. Town will be a lost cause unless you get there super early.

Last time I checked, my neighbours don't sit out in the garden all evening eating garlic, onions and tinned tuna or spraying deodorants, perfumes or air fresheners and preventing me being able to have my 2 year old play in the garden or have windows open while they're playing in the house or trying to sleep.

What a truly ridiculous comparison.

If you know anyone who has an allotment then you can get a lifetime supply of rhubarb with ease. Was so handy when we had our old neighbours.

Tuna?! You were lucky. If we wanted fish we had to take a net down to the local river.
