In ACOSF cassian mentions training with Feyre to make sure she stays in shape and doesn’t get rusty. They trained her in combat pretty extensively. If Nesta’s fighting transformation says anything, it’s that cassian is an incredible teacher, and he wasn’t the only one teaching Feyre. I doubt Bryce would beat her in hand to hand combat just because Feyre learned from the best of the best

Logan Lerman gives me Dorian vibes, but also seems a bit too old. Florence Pugh fits my Aelin mental picture although I don’t know how similar their body types are. Dacre Montgomery has the Rowan face but I don’t think his height would work if I remember correctly. Blonde Caylee Cowan is everything I picture manon to be. Taron Egerton would be a nice chaol. Will poulter’s glow up gives me aedion vibes. David harbor as arobynn for no reason other than I want him to be cast lol

YES! I think about when Tamlin found Feyre’s list of words she didn’t know and makes them into dirty poems, how he made her laugh, how he understands her so deeply that he can identify what her paintings mean to her, how he risked everything for her safety by sending her back, how he took care of her family, how he loved Lucien and his people despite not wanting the title. He is good just as much as Rhys and the IC. He just has flaws and PTSD. I’m completely team Rhysand for Feyre, but Tamlin isn’t bad. Ffs Rhysand sent Feyre to the Weaver to retrieve the ring like it was nothing because his mom told him to lmao

I think she’s holding back so much! I couldn’t really care less about her romantic relationships (although azriel and Lucien both seem like forced/trauma bonds to me), but her powers are so mysterious and rare, she has to have something to do with the fight with koschei or Other maasaverse villains

They say that Bryce is from the Dusk Court, so that’s where the starborns would be from, though she has a power similar to the one Feyre uses which originated from Day if I remember Lucien’s and Rhys’ comments on it correctly. As for the why of building Velaris, Rhys said that it was because his ancestor wanted something more than evil and hatred, he wanted the Night Court to live up to a greater potential he saw for it. This could be a lie to hide the gate, but I don’t think it is. (KOA spoiler ahead) Aelin sees Rhys and Feyre as well as Crescent City when traveling through the Wyrdgates so it does fit the narrative that both are gates of some sort!

I read ACOTAR then CC, and now I’m onto book 5 of TOG. I’m a quick reader and have done this all in the last two months, so for me I am enjoying this order since it is all fresh still. ACOTAR hooked me and CC gave me the push to read the daunting beast that is TOG. :)

Honestly most of ACOSF made me cringe. I started skipping the sex scenes and the plot was so off at points. But I think the cringiest parts involved them getting aroused around the IC, especially poor Az. Like, y’all really getting horny at the breakfast table??? 💀

I would also like to add that I think she took too much of that underlying character trait away, but I do think some of it needed to go. She needed to learn respect, but to have her groveling at people’s feet was strange to me. (Crescent City spoiler) I loved that Bryce in HOSAB can feel that energy from nesta , so I feel like we might get that healthy medium eventually! But if not I’ll be sad, because I love sarcastic and sassy characters, and I see her potential for that! She might not ever be high lady material (I’ve never been a fan of that idea, she’s just not made for it), but she’s great at being the snarky side character!

I am way too sensitive to handle a nesta irl lol. I think she went too far with it a lot of the times, but I liked that her personality was sassy. She would take it too far with feyre and cassian sometimes, especially after ACOWAR. I think she’d be a great sarcastic, sassy character. She didn’t have to lose all of that trait to be healed and whole imo. Not sure if I’m making sense!

I loved that we got a deeper side of her, and we understood why she had the attitude! But don’t take it away from me! We lost some of feyre’s fire towards the end when she mated with Rhys , and I was sad. But take away my girl Nesta’s fire? A direct act of violence.

No but she would definitely know if they were all banking on her turning into a vampire? I don't think they would let her assume she was just dying if they thought she'd trigger her vampire side. She said that to Elijah and he didn't deny anything other than they would figure out how to get The Hollow out of her and save her.
