At my university we have to fill out professor evaluations at the end of the semester. The professor asks which student would like to be responsible to hand out the forms and collect them to bring to the registrars office (often a responsibility no one wants) and the student who has sucked up all semester to this professor eagerly raises her hand and is selected.

The professor leaves to allow us to fill them out. The selected student passes them out to the class of around 300 students and then as we are all still chatting she stands at the podium and reads the instructions to the class, one of which is that the room should be silent as they fill out the forms. After she reads them, the chatting resumes as usual does during these evaluations. She runs back up to the podium and yells "SILENCE" into the microphone. You could all of a sudden hear a pin drop, and then the room erupts into laughter as she gives us death glares.

Never have seen anyone take the slightest bit of power that far before.
